I'm really missing good ol' Jackie   Obviously as you cant tell by my username, I am fan of Wheeljack. I was REALLY hoping he would become a permanent member of Team Prime.

 

It would be neat if they set up two bases. One on Earth, one on Cybertron or the moon or something, and brought in all the non-show cast. Wheeljack, Fallback, Hot Shot, Ironhide and Kup could have their own spinoff. Someone needs to write a Mosaic.

 

He's taking a Eurotrip, he has nothing better to do.

 

Actually, Smokescreen had *two* relics on him; the Phase-Shifter and the Spark-Extractor. Wheeljack could easily have taken the Spark-Extractor, activated that bitch, strafed the Cons on the ground in his Starhammer, and dropped it on top of them.

Or the writers could have just written a quick blurb like:

OP: "Ratchet, any luck reaching Wheeljack?"
Ratchet: "No answer yet on our frequency."
OP: "We cannot wait on him any longer...."

Which would set up something nicely with the season finale with Ratchet and possibly Wheeljack (arriving at the last minute) defending the Bot Base against a Con assault.

But yeah, the Bots are dicks.

Wheeljack and the Absinthe Fairy. I'd watch the hell out of such a show.

You'll have to forgive my ignorance, but is this a reference to events in Wolverine & The X-Men?   Or am I missing something else?

 

You know I'm fine mostly when Wheeljack doesn't appear. But lately it's been bothering me. These keys are really important but they aren't calling their seventh warrior? It just seems like the events of Legacy and up would have been a good time for Wheeljack to drop by for help. Call him in when the Autobots were off dealing with the decoy to back up Smokescreen, have him stick around the next episode because serious stuff is going down, and then just have him along for the ride after that.

They are indeed references to that series.

 

This is the only thing I didn't like about that episode. Excluding Jacky from something of such high importance was simply put, stupid.

 

Wheeljack transforms into a supercar. There are two seats and as anyone who has ridden in a supercar will tell you, they're mostly for show as those things are barely accommodating enough for one person.

 

Season 2 has been drawing a lot of parallels to both season 1 and other episodes within itself, so I still have hope that Wheeljack will show up.

This episode we saw Starscream and Soundwave have a change in plans, so I can imagine Optimus calling to Ratchet to open the groundbridge for the kids or w/e once they agree to Megatron's terms and ratchet having a moment like starscream's, where he hints that there is an alternative. Then the bridge opens and Wheeljack pops out!

Well that or Wheeljack shows up when the base is in flames and we see some kind of remorse or something at the possible deaths he thinks all the Autobots have suffered. (Could be a launching point for him to go back into space and bring back some other people he might know are out there--and in that process, find out about Cybertron being revived etc etc).

Either way, Jackie will be in next episode...*Starscream Voice*: I CAN FEEL IT!

 

Ah, well, there you go then. I knew me not actually counting up the relics before making that post would come back to bite me in the arse. But then Smokescreen is a greedy dick nabbing himself two relics, even if they do compliment each other in use. I wouldn't have been surprised if he, or more likely Optimus, had just gathered all the relics onto himself and waded in alone. Imagine Optimus tooled up with all their relics and then having a mighty ruck with Megatron.
