    It did serve an entertaining purpose. I was entertained by the shock value of seeing Dreadwing get ventilated. But I'm not going to lose sleep over it.

    I sure wasn't. Because that 3 seconds of shock value was done in exchange for more episodes of character development. How about we kill all the characters in episode 52. Tons of shock value, right? But oh wait, no more episodes to enjoy those characters.

    Character deaths happen in shows that is no reason to stop watching them all together. It is simply part of the story.

    I'm not surprised he died, I remember way back before the season began it was said during an interview with Tony Todd he would only be in about 18 episodes.

    that's the thing, Dreadwing only actually spoke in like 5-7 episodes. Unless by he you're referring to Dreadwing and not Tony Todd/his voice
