The description for the upcoming episode "Regeneration" explicitly says that the Autobots and Decepticons will return to Cybertron to fight over the Omega Lock. However, the Autobots don't seem to have any means of getting there at the moment.

It's not like they can hijack the Decepticon space bridge again, since it's in orbit around the moon. Wheeljack's ship could probably make it there, but it only has room for two. In spite of this, Bulkhead and Arcee were talking about "packing their bags" as if it was a sure thing!

Will the Omega Keys open up a space bridge once they're all brought together?

 

I think Dreadwing might do something, but I'm not sure what just yet.

 

I suppose if worse comes to worse, Wheeljack can take them there 1 at a time.

More likely though, would be Dreadwing giving the Autobots access to the Space Bridge as Shatterpoint somewhat suggested.

 

I think that may be the best thing for the writers to do, because anything else would just be a last-minute Deus Ex Machina.

 

lol maybe ratchet finally converts the groundbridge into a small space bridge like he was trying to do in orion pax.....

 

Well, that would be preferable to, for instance, Fowler hooking them up with a space shuttle.

 

just a thought..soundwave can open ground bridges at will...can he do the same with space bridges? Lol but they have ground bridged far into space before Maybe a groundbridge can reach that space bridge to?

yeah, that's why i'm eager to see patch to see how dreadwing will do. The autobots seriously need air support and the only other friendly flying autobot around ( going by rb and prime being canon with eachother) is blades and he's probably get killed by a vehicon miner lol

I'd say Wheeljack counts as air support. When he's around, that is.

I think the fandom would explode if that happened.

Maybe Wheeljack built team prime a space ship giving his absence throughtout the season.

 

Or maybe it's the "last significant relic" that Alpha Trion said he would "launch" to help them in their fight.

 

I don't know. How come humans can go to the moon but Maximals on an energon rich prehistoric earth could not?

Or they just hijack the Nemesis and go joy-flying.

Or Raf can probably just hack the Decepticon Spacebridge and have it open at the Autobot base. It's Raf so he can probably easily do it with just his toes and a slice of bread.

Put all the relics together and it will teleport them there.

Optimus: "If we close our eyes and wish really really hard it might just happen..."

In the end though it will probably something really mundane like Wheeljack flies them there (Cybertron or the Space Bridge) in his ship or Ratchet converts the Ground Bridge.

 

Because humanity had a gigantic project over the space of several years to get there; while the Maximals were stranded on a barren Earth with no intention or need to go to the moon (until the Planet Bustah!), plus only had a single crashed and inoperable ship to use....until it was blown to pieces of course.


Back to Prime, I agree with those going down the Dreadwing route. He seems the only way they can pull it off without it seeming forced.

 

Perhaps the Autobots will get there by the space bridge or assistance from someone (DW, WJ, AT)

They may even get that plague ship clean up and use that.

But I don't think they will be stay on Cybertron, they will fight and come back to earth.

They maybe packing and wishing to go back but they are not going anywhere at least not any time soon.
