Before you start getting ideas, I mean this on a platonic level.

Out of the human/robot interactions in the show, these two have been especially given a lot of focus. Early on, it's obvious they're good buds who like to fool around. It's also apparent that Bulkhead may have developed a protective big brother or parental role to Miko (quoting Deus Ex Machina: "We only want what's best for you.").

Again, on a non-romantic level, how does everyone else look into their relationship?

Best friends. After all it's the most logical answer.

Best friends, but I think their relationship sometimes turns into Olderbrother-Youngsister because Bulkhead sometimes needs to protect her and reminds her of her responsabilities.

Bulkhead seems to act as a father figure to her a lot of the time.

It depends if you're talking about how Miko views it, or how Bulkhead views it. While Miko seems to think of them of best friends, Bulkhead seems to have a protective, older brother sort of feeling about her.

Bulkhead's a lot like the father that Miko probably wants: Big, tough, cool, fun to hang with, pretty badass, and likes what she likes.

Miko doesn't seem to really care about her real or foster families, but Bulk is definitely very important to her, and probably because he's wish fulfilment for her.

You mean as of recently? Because it's no where as close as the Arcee/Jack focus.

Anyway, I consider Bulkhead/Miko as a big brother/little sister grouping, sort of like I consider Arcee/Jack a Surrogate mother/son grouping. Bumblebee/Raf seems more like the best friends grouping.

    True.

    ... :/

You do realize that platonic is non-sexual, right?

    They are super best bros.

It's one of the show's great positives; these two are mates in the truest sense. Especially when compared to the writing between Arcee and Jack that occasionally gets fumbled in such a way as to imply a different relationship.

Totally bffs. But Bulkhead's like the guy friend that would beat up anyone who makes his female friend cry. And he also recognizes that Miko will run head first into danger, and it's his responsibility to prevent anything bad from happening ti her.

So I guess there's a little bit of an older brother mentality to it. But my best guy friend calls me "sis" sometimes. So I like to think of them as best friends with protective sibling tendencies.

Being realistic, I think the three bot-human partner relationships in the show are mean to be big and little siblings (even if the particular Jack/Arcee catchs some occasional innuendo).
