Cliffjumper- Killed and turned into a zombie, sliced in half and blown up.
Breakdown- Had his eye stolen by humans, gets his arm, leg and head torn off and is going to be used as a life support machine by the same human who stole his eye.
    Yeah Cliff had it worse.

Haha I actually posted a thread awhile back wondering if things were leading up to Headmasters in Prime, alot of people did not like the idea, but I think if done well enough it may win some over.
After this last episode though, I think there is a small chance we may see the birth of Lockdown, seems fitting what with the stealing of parts from others to upgrade himself, and even the name is close.
    Just my thoughts.

I see what you did there.jpg

Although in seriousness it will be interesting to see how silas reacts. He kept wanting the perfect combination of man and machine. Wonder how he will feel about it being literal.

On topic: I don't think it was that big of a deal. I really liked BD and it was unfortunate for him to bite the dust, but it happens.

I am not sure why the speculation became silas having BD's memories. Is there something I missed that leads people to believe being dead means something "stays", or is t just wishful thinking?

Cliff was a good guy, Breakdown wasn't. No pity for the bad guys, they'd off you in a nanosec and wouldn't shed a drop of diesel, oil or any related lubricant.

that said, Silas in the body of BD is a slap in the nuts and I hope he gets blown to bits sometime soon.

Breakdown had some moments that made him seem "Morally ambigious".

Anyone else thinking that it might be Silas making one of the attempts on Megatron we've been told about? He'll have a robot body now, with presumably more control than he had over Nemesis Prime too.

Breakdowns body with Silas' training and combat skills would probably give Megatron at least a few seconds of trouble before it was destroyed. Especially if Silas had the element of surprise, as I'm sure he would suddenly turning up in the body of one of your dead mooks.

Uh, if Silas can beat Optimus Prime with a cheap carbon Prime and a remote chair with the crappy excuse of "oh lawl my combat experience is better than yours", he can beat Megatron with full control of Breakdown. Utterly ridiculous, but if they plan to be consistent, this will probably happen. At least until Soundwave cracks down.

    Concurred, good sir.

Breakdown's dead. Get over it. They're using his body for something cool (in my opinion). It may not be "him" exactly, but we get to see "him". And we all know that if we never saw Breakdown again in some form or another, the s**t would hit the fan. Let's be thankful that they're at least doing something with Breakdown's death (/body).

I get being upset or disappointed by a character's death. The fact people care means the writers are doing their jobs. But at the point someone starts taking a character's death as a personal insult to them as a viewer, it's time to take a step back. Maybe turn off the tv for a while.

Have Cybertronians been known to age? Maturity-wise? Because if WFC/FOC are indeed tied with TFP, I get the impression that Breakdown was a "teenager" during WFC and he's bulky during TFP because of maturing or whatever. Plus we see he's not as whiny and paranoid.

i think TFP basically ignored the Aligned Continuity thing with Breakdown.

in the video game WfC, he was still a "scout" car-size, and much the worrier.

and in Bey's take, RoTF, he was that little car that bolted when the "Bots showed up at film's beginning.

I want to say he got sliced dorsally by the non-red, non-Lamborghini version of Sideswipe...

    That was Sideways.

Anyway, I think it was a great, shocking moment. I absolutely did not see Breakdown's death coming, and it was a total surprise and because he had been written so well up to that point, really made an impact.

So well done. If they're going to kill any more characters, they should all be that good.

    I stand, or sit, corrected.

Yeah for a villain he was kind of mistreated. Airachnid's one-liners about his eye were funny though.

Like telling Bulkhead that he'd kill his human partner after he was done with him?

xD, in his defense, it WAS Miko he was referring to...so that could be taken either way, good or bad, depending where you're coming from xD
