The fact that you put this into an essay format of sorts is pretty hysterical.Your points were pretty twisted to justify your bias about this pairing when there are other (Even true) factors to why Arcee is acting in this sort of way.I haven`t watched the series after 'Predatory',but I have a clear notion that the concept of this pairing has a lot of holes.

Have you considered the fact that the reason why Arcee has chosen Starscream as a temporary ally in order to carry out her personal revenge due to him knowing Airachnid?

Have you thought that she accepted Starscream's information to get Prime back was due to her priority in getting their leader in order to have a chance of winning the war when they know that they couldn't?They would rely on Starscream due to him being a 'free agent' of sorts to accept him for temporary alliances when his hatred towards Megatron is more important than the Autobots (The lesser of two evils).

I have read a lot of FanGirls' arguments to why they want this pairing to happen,but clearly this is the most surprising.I appreciate that you can structure an essay for your opinion,but,regardless,you have twisted the mental subjectivity of the characters to your own personal desire for this pairing to happen.Remember that Arcee and Starscream are under the templates of previous characters of the same names.There won't be a pairing no matter how many times you look at it the other way.The writers won't allow it,we Fans won't allow it,and certainly the characters themselves won't allow it.It's just that simple.

 

Dude do you remember some of the old threads in the Prime forum? I went archive diving a few hours ago, and compared to those old hives of scum and villainy, this shit is nothing.

As for my opinion on the topic:
I say that the writers should go for it. Not because I want it to happen (I really don't care if it does or doesn't) but because it would be daring and different. What writers in today's fiction lack is the desire to create new and ambitious works and the idea of Starscream-Arcee pairing would really show just how eventful TFP could be.
In other words, my wet dream lies with how the writers can make me fly out of my chair with a priceless suprised look on my face.

Mate some of the early Prime threads were equal parts hysterical, horrifying and insane. It was hard to tell where discussion ended and intentional trolling and counter trolling began.

We covered a gamut of topics, although from memory the top three were:

Arcee is hot

Shit got real out of control in some those threads too so to anyone, old or new who thinks that this nonsense is depraved, you ain't seen anything....

 

Although I still don't think Arcee and Starscream should pair up at all I DO however find the theory and idea of Forgivness to be quite intresting if done right. Starscream has shown a couple of times of being redeemed and if the writers can find a way to do it without him going out of character then I'll give the writers some cridit!   As for Arcee it can also bring a new demension to her character. She started out as being revene driven but as we've seen she's coming out of it and I can't help but wonder if she does see Starscream as being truely remorseful or not. Even if it wasn't him it can still be a good opernutiy for her to practice forgivenss to a con who's maybe having serious thoughts of being an Autobot or just wants peace like Breakdown or Dreadwing.

If the whole secnerio ofher forgiving Starscream happens it may play out like this.

We see Starscream on the ground brusied and to the point of death by a group of Vehiocns who corners him and ready to trminate him. Suddenly Arcee jumps in and fights them until they lay on the ground offline. She then sees Starscream and looks shocked and angry.

Starscream: Well....This is an irony..Unkoningly rescuing the one who lmost killed you......Funny wolrd we live in......

Arcee: (Gets her guns ready.) What are YOU doing here?!?! You're in Autobot territory!

Starscream (Pleadingly) Wait wait! Let me explain why I'm here!!!

Arcee Give me a reason not to.

Starscream For starters have you not already leanred about how being aggresive cost you an adventige? Or are you really deticated to the Autobot cause?

Arcee pauses still loking angry but knows that Starscream makes a good point. She lowrs her weapons down but still caoutous.

Arcee: Very well then but make it quick[/B]

Starscream: I'm.......I'm sorry. I'm sorry for about Cliffjumper....(Then he all of the sudden cries out.) I'm so sorry for everything!!!!!

Arcee backs away stunned at this outburst. She NEVER saw him like this at all let alone aplogizing.

Starscream: All those times that I've backstabbed,all those times of muder,and all those times of lies and decit,the guilt of it all's too much to bear! I've made dozens of mistakes of great magnitude and ruining the chance to start again by trying to kill you for the Autobots! All this time I've been a fool by not relizing what harm and suffering I've caused because of my inablity of accepting of my flaws and of my pride causing my downfall! Have you any idea of what it's like to not know of who you are and what suffeirng you have to go through in life and making errors that maybe the downfall of yourself and of the ones you know?!?

Arcee still stunned at this keeps a careful watch and prepares lest he gos for a sneak attack. Suddenly he throws himself on the ground in fear and remorse.

Starscream This is too much for me to bear any longer! I can't live like this knowing that the ones you've killed still haunt you in dreams and of your demons controling you!!! I wish to become an Autobot for sure and this time I mean it! f not then all I ask is forgiveness Arcee. Forgivenss of the grief I've caused you and for robbing the lif of the most bravest Autobot I've fought. If you have the spark please forgive me! (Breaks down) For the love of the Allspark forgive me!! Forgive me! Please Forgvie me!

Arcee That's quite enough!!! (Starscream stops suprised then calms.) I'm having a hard time accepting you apology and I still havn't forgotten about last time. Espically not Cliffjumper.

Starscream*Sighs* Of course. I'm not aksing you to forget him. How could you? He's the one Autobot that you care for the most. If you still want to end me then go ahead. You'll never have a clearer shot. This time no one's here to stop you. After all you had the chance last time.

Arcee: You're right. It's time that I do something that I should have done long ago.

Starscream closes his eyes preparing for the death blow but then to his suprise Arcee holds him up and uses the cuffs on him.

Starscream: (Confused and suprised.) What...What are you doing? I thought you said-

Arcee: I did and it's to keep an eye on you and see how you may do as an Autobot whcih I failed to do last time. If you're at all sencire about it and I hope you are then you'll earn your place on the Autobots and Cliffjumpers and my forgiveness.

Starscream I....I understand.....Thank you for being so merciful..

Arcee Well don't ge comfy quite yet. Again you need to earn our trust and of getting true wisdom. A certain Autobot told me this one time.

Starscream Chuckles quitely) No guessing who said that.

We then see Arcee escouting Starscream back to base to unform the others and for Starscream to recivie medical treatment.

It's not much but I hope it's a good idea of how it may be presented.
