    Hai all,

Just a "simple" question. As some know I'm running a tf rpg at the moment, and the whole story revolves around several Megatrons being brought from different timelines into the stories' one.

Right now, I'm using these; Universal stream - Transformers Wiki as a guideline to keep my Megatrons apart. I'm now planning gaming session 10, but in session 8 the group ran into the Megatron from Transformers: Prime. And as far as I can find on the wiki, the Prime universe doesn't have a universal stream number attached to it yet.

I know the whole universal stream thing is unofficial, but I'm using it simply to keep the different timelines/realities I'm playing with here apart, and thus get a better overview for my players as well.

    This is what i got currently;

    ?1 1110.26 Alpha

(?1 = the word I'm missing / 1110, november 2010, launch date / 26; day of first episode aired / Alpha; cartoon series)

So, I'm asking the hardcore fans out there; would the Prime stream ever be numbered, and if so, what could it be?

    Thanx in advance :)

Seems I'll have to have some patience then :)

    Thanks Rigas!

I think it depends entirely on how they come up with the names for the first part. Only onea I can definitely see the logic behind are "Primax", for primary, which is Generation 1, and Quadwal, as in Quad Wall or fourth wall, for real world.

Yayayarst is somehow connected to the title "Go-Go-Gobots" given the shared repetition of the first two letters three times in both.

The rest, I have no clue. I'm tempted to think of it as "Trinex" or "Trimax", for the fact there are three variants on the basic structure of the continuity, with the "max" coming in because it is meant to be the main, ongoing continuity for the next few years.

    That... sounds very logical :)

I prefer it won't be called Primax. It is sort of a reset of G1, but completely different, so I hope they slam a different name onto it. Trinex sounds VERY good; tempting enough to use myself if you'll allow me.

It'll all be going on a new website I'm building, and I'll make sure you'll be credited ;)

Universal streams are *totally* official. They were introduced in Fun Publications stories, and have since appeared in the Alternity fiction and the Animated AllSpark Almanac. RiD and Go-Bots went unnamed for a good while until the Almanac, so I imagine Prime will get an identifier eventually.

(Though, mind you, I'm given pause to wonder if it wouldn't be <whatever> 1010.13 Gamma, since the Prime universe was first introduced in the IDW comic book, published on October 13, 2010.)

I probably misread that somewhere then. I just they were created for / by the Wiki contributors to keep everything organized. I'm just glad it makes my work easier ;) . Thanks for clearing that up for me :)

That depends on which one you're using. I'm using the cartoon continuity (Alpha) right now, ignoring the comics for the time being, mostly because I haven't seen them yet. I'm usually a few months behind on the comics due to being in the Netherlands. I'll probably mix and match information later, but I expect there could be some "crucial" differences like the G1 cartoon (Primax 984.17 Alpha) and G1 marvel comic (Primax 984.0 Gamma).

The idea of "continuity families" was an unofficial wiki creation, which were then used to develop the official "universal stream" idea.

The Prime comic is actually specifically a prequel to the cartoon. It's in-continuity with it, showing us how Arcee and Cliffjumper became partners and came to Earth, not a separate universe like the G1 comics and cartoons were.

I have the comic on order, so I'm hoping to be able to add this info later. That would mean that this number would indeed change to Gamma. Although it can be stretched, considering it's said that WfC is a prequel to TF;P... meaning it would become a completely different number...

    Blech :p

And here I was thinking that making use of those numbers would make everything easier...

Anyways, so far I've just been using Decepticons (since a Decepticon scientist is the one dragging certain beings from other continuities), so I could do without the comic, and just use only Megatron's history from Exodus to WfC up until he appears in TF;P.
