Thanks, except for the dig at Macs, and h.264. But, I'll live and won't look a gift horse in the mouth.   I have several Macs and would never go back - so much better. Anyway, I bought S1 in iTunes and on Blu-Ray, but unfortunately S2's not in iTunes yet. Hopefully it will be and we won't need these downloads...

 

Yeah, I don't understand the hate either. Both Macs & PCs can be good computers. If you're a geek and/or you care about raw specs, and don't mind being techy to get stuff to work, get a PC. If you're like 98% of everyone else and just want it to work well, get a Mac. Simple. Both get the job done, and I have both Mac machines and Win7 machines. I end up preferring the Mac for most stuff though. But I fail to see where this type of hate has any place on a Transformers board, or FAQ... And if you want to play XVID on a Mac, get VLC. Most encoding/ripping has moved away from XVID to h.264, especially recently - all the major groups that do that have switched, although there's a lot of bitter users out there who don't like that they did. But that's a discussion for somewhere else...

 

Last year, when S1 was starting o air, before it was on iTunes and we could buy it there, didn't someone post up 1080i .ts videos somewhere, and 1280x720 ones? Does anyone know if they're doing either of those again?

 

I noticed iTunes' copy of Prime only recently. How long was it before season one was available? I love Darkprime's upload's, but I have a shut-up-and-take-my-money relationship with Hasbro.

I started using MPlayerX with my mac. It works splendidly and I honestly prefer it to VLC.

Why is the sound always off from the video?

 

You'll have to explain better than that. The sound seems fine on my machine. If anything, it might be delayed by 0.1 seconds, but it could have aired that way on comcast.

 

I actually had more trouble out of a Mac than the PC. The PC worked right out of the box, where as the Mac just left me frustrated. I couldn't get it to do anything I wanted. Good thing I was only messing around on my friends Mac and hadn't dropped big cash on it.

 

I haven't had any sound issues with any of DPs encodes.

It appears that the problem is QuickTime, there's a 2 second delay. Tried it with VLC and it works.

Hard drive failed that my episodes have been stored on. I have to re-encode tonight's episode now. I'll also be looking for a replacement 2 TB drive if anyone can help me out.
