In short a torrent is a file that links the download form several other people as you download your file... That is to speed up your download you get fractions of the same file from multipul people. You NEED a program that can download torrents... One of which is Frostwire. Do a google search if you want more 411 all the info's out there.

THX Oberoniss & Bruticon! The downloads aren't working for me either b/c it takes me to a download site that wont let me download it unless I sign up for the downloading service which costs money & it wont play it on my windows movie maker.

Any other (free) video streaming service I could use?

EDIT: nvrmnd, its got a free download option:)

If you're having issues, just look it up on Youtube. The quality might not be as good, but it'll be better than jerking yourself around all day.

So do you think someone will upload the episode on Youtube around 10:00 PM or something? I mean that's when fanoftransformers usually puts it up but now that he's not doing it anymore.

You probably just need the codex update.

Yeah, codex update. If your computer's not brand-spanking-new you'll need to download a codex update for Windows Media Player.

It's codec not codex...what you should really do is stop using the crappy WMP and get VLC media player.

I can also recommend VLC player, though I also have TheKMPlayer installed. I've only encountered TWO videos, ever, that VLC balked at and TheKMPlayer handled them nicely.

WMP is bad enough for me to consider it only slightly short of malware. I disable it shortly after completing any clean installation.

I use VLC to watch the episodes because the Quick Time Player on the Mac I have won't play .avi files like it did last year. I also like messing around with the color effects on VLC.

Orion Pax Part 3 is encoding now. No issues other than there's a grounding loop in my DVR, so there's horizontal green & purple bars cycling through the video. Nothing I can do about that now, other than wait for new boxes.

On Windows, I was using Media Player Classic.

On my Ubuntu, I was using VLC - but now VLC has a sound issue, so I use Gnome Mplayer.

When I get FIOS again, I'll have new/different DVR boxes that will be grounded better.

VLC can't play Windows Media Player UK Freeview TV encodes for me which frankly is a pain in the tailpipe as it makes moving any TV recorded on my PC somewhat pointless as it only plays it back on another windows media equipped PC and not on say a netbook or laptop. and frankly it's not worth the hassle of reconverting things.

So video I've downloaded in a more common file format is the only video that is really portable for me - more's the pity.

But VLC is my default player for all non-TV video it plays back 90+% of video captures really well so far... The only stuff I've had sometimes not work were a couple of Videogame related vids from gaming sites that had no picture - just sound when played back.
