Do we know how TFP Season 3 was originally envisioned?

TFP was an example of what happens when writes either don't have the guts or the sign off to follow interesting storylines through to a conclusion.

    Prime 'dying'
Insecticon nearly defeats Megatron 1v1 but in a swarm are a joke
    Relic hunts forever
    Dragging out the Predaking angle
Bulkhead being diagnosed as never making a full recovery only to make a full recovery

I feel that they missed a trick with the Star Seekers, It would have been nice to see something different and Possibly seeing Thundertron going against Prime and Megatron.

a good chunk is probably due to the in house fighting and lack of common ground, this might have been a compromise...I dunno.

I loved season 3 (along with the rest of Prime) the way it was. Sure, they could have let Optimus die rather than have Smokescreen revive him, but that was one of the only times I felt they "wasted" a plot.

Honestly, I love what we got with Transformers: Prime. It's probably my favorite cartoon of all time. That being said, I would have loved to see the Season 3 that was originally intended. Imagine seeing Dinobots and Combiners in that glorious CG animation...

^ One can only dream. I think the biggest problem with season 3 was how weak the Decepticons were. They had a heavily armed warship full of troops, all the relics they captured from the Autobots, and no Optimus Prime to worry about, and they couldn't kill 6 demoralized, isolated Autobots. Really?

Man, I wish we could have seen Seaspray. I liked Beast Hunters (and I REALLY like RiD), but he sounds like he'd have been the best version of the character ever.

If only it wasn't for that Predacons Rising movie.... bah.

If TF: Prime was a house of cards in progress, Predacons Rising was someone dropping a brick on top of it and saying "There. Finished!".

This show ended as such a mess! But somehow it is still in my top 3. The pros outweigh the cons. It had so much going for it. Really a shame. Would have benefited from at least one more season.

I would've loved to see a new aquatic Altmode figure even if I don't care completely for some of Prime's aesthetics in facial design. Still a more epic Quint Seaspray would've been awesome potential even if meant his story would've been possibly shortchanged in comparison.
