For every review you have that says Prime should come back, I can show you ten that insist Prime shouldn't come back.

That would have actually ruined Prime's story, because by the third season there really was obvious signs nobody had a clue what to do.

Why not today and get this matter settled?

Yep, that's Prime in a nutshell.

You don't understand: the mic is the grappling hook.

On the basis of merits alone, Animated Megatron actually is the second greatest antagonist in Transformers history, second only to BM Megsy.

Oh I have absolutely no issues with the characters featured in RID. But I just don't care for the stories and the Decepticon-of-the-week formula. If the OP wants to start a campaign to improve RID, that's something that I could possibly get behind.

A campaign for an improvement to RID is a better idea. I thought Prime was good, but it's done and won't get a 4th season.

This is season 1. Everyone moaned about Season 1 of Animated. Season2 could take a turn and everyone will proclaim it to be what Transformers truly is.
I would be against the Decepticon-of-the-week story-telling, but the Decepticons showcased are so interesting and cool, I'm fine with it. Everyone wanted Decepticons to have characterizations and we're getting that.

Actually I really don't think tehy did.

Before Animated's debut, yeah there was a tone of negativity, but almost all the "haters" were either turned or subsided once the show started.

Animated had the balls to not only make Optimus Prime not the top dog of the Autobots, instead being the leader of the space janitor team and not being taken seriously by superiors, but to also kill him outright within the pilot episodes.

Plus, if anybody who was going to be swayed to going from disliking Animated for the story to liking it for the story had changed their tune when "Thrill of the Hunt" - the fifth episode - came about and Animated's most influential character - Lockdown - immediately starts doing some real sick shit to Prime by grafting the guy's body parts to himself, and then Ratchet's war trauma is revealed. It was a level of maturity no Transformers show has demonstrated since.

With all due respect we are getting a third show in the form of the Combiner Wars Machinima series but repeatedly asking for a season 4 of Prime on this forum is getting pretty annoying.

We're in a sad state when "potentially" promising is enough to get excited about. Prime had a potentially promising story it ultimately failed to deliver on, imo. But the potential was definitely there.

I was about to argue this, but after thinking about it, other than Animated Megatron, you may be right. Yikes, that's kind of depressing, too.

There's a reason "hope" was in Pandora's Box along with all those other nasty things.

If petitions to get Clone Wars (which is superior over Prime) revived on tv failed, Prime has no chance.

Prime is done, the people behind have moved on to other projects by this point. There is also a good chance the animation models of Prime are gone too.

Optimus4EVER, there is no need to make multiple threads for this. While there are many fans who share your enthusiasm for Transformers Prime, the way you convey it is akin to posting spam.

Prime fans wanting another season of their preferred show is no different from: G1 fans wanting another season, BW fans wanting another season, Animated fans wanting another season.......

We each have our favorite Transformers cartoon. We may not all agree on our favorite versions, and that's okay. Let's not dog fans for being enthusiastic about wanting/wishing for another season of their favorite cartoon version.

Each version was/is geared towards a particular age bracket:

Rescue Bots- Pre-Schooler to 2nd Grade

    RID- Pre-Teens/Teens

    Animated- Teens

    Beast Wars- Pre-Teens/Teens

    G1- Pre-Teens

    Prime- Teens/Young Adults

We don't know what Combiner Wars will look like just yet. I also thought I read it was going to be in the form of Webisodes, not television.

There's still plenty of room for a version like Prime, geared more towards older teens and adults. After all, Transformers fans stay fans well into their adult lives. What's wrong with having a cartoon geared more towards them, like Prime was? This is not to say Prime didn't have a lackluster episode or 5, but so did every other Transformers cartoon. It's not the end all, be all of Transformers cartoons since there is no such thing as an end all, be all Transformers cartoon. However, it was good for what it was intended to be.

Personally speaking, even though G1 will always hold a special place in my heart, my top 2 Transformers cartoons are Animated and Prime. I'd love to see the return of the grittier version, that was more adult oriented. Nothing wrong with that.:)

It was 1986 with everyone dying? Seriously? A whopping two people died in Predacons Rising.

Oh, really? Then, why am I seeing 3-5 stars for this for the first five reviews? And on the side, I see 5 star ratings on the most recent customer reviews? I must be seeing things, or maybe I'm looking on it more carefully.

Out of all this Direct to TV/Direct to DVD movie, two characters died. Optimus Prime died sacrificing himself, and Unicron (supposidly) died. So, it was not "1986 with everyone dying" as you put it.

Why show the proof on Thursday, when you could have shown it yesterday, and we could have debunked your point?

Again, I don't hate you, Optimus4Ever. I just hate your obsession with bringing back Transformers Prime after it already ended.

Maybe I can contact Hasbro Studios and ask them why they haven't released RID 2001 on DVD from Shout! Factory.

I don't think Unicron died. His life force was contained within the Allspark casing because he couldn't be killed. Tho, it was heavily implied Starscream died, so the death count stays the same.

Optimus died. That's the only characters that I remember dying, off the top of my head.
