so, with season wrapping up, or already over for some of us. i am starting to think of what season 2 may hold in the way of decepticons. there will obviously be new decepticons introduced and steeljaw will likely still be in the forefront and i both anticipate and hope that

will ultimately return. but what decepticons from season 1 would you like to see return, not as steeljaws goons, but establishing themselves as independent long lasting villains. I think underbite, chop shop, quillfire, thunderhoof and scowl. all of them have amazing designs and unique characters/backgrounds that would contribute to them being major enemies to the autobots later in the series. what cons do you want back in a big way?

 

I don't care what Decepticons they introduce or bring back, as long as they focus more on them in terms of backstory and character development. You had some great Decepticons appearing in the first season and it felt almost nothing was done with them.

The Decepticons are a sore point for me on the show. I love the creativity in design and the silly personality tics they have. But then Hasbro doesn't make Warrior toys out of them. In fact, most cons don't have any toys what-so-ever, except Tiny Titans. Come on Hasbro, remember why you make media, "To Sell Toys"! Your commercial worked, and I want to buy, but you need to make product in order to sell product. At this point, I'm hopeful that we get the season 1 cons fleshed out a bit more so Hasbro has another opportunity to make and sell them to us. But I'm not expecting it.

 

That Guy is right. The Decepticons are among my favorite characters from Aligned, but I would really want larger sized figures. If the Warrior Thunderhoof rumor is true, that might be my first buy for this line.

 

Yea, it's a shame. I really want a larger sized Thunderhoof and Underbite. Not one step changers or Legion class. Most likely going to pick up the Legion Underbite because I just want a figure of him, but the one step changers are a joke.

These 'Cons really need episodes centered around them. The constant focus on the Autobots and humans in season one really didn't impress me too much with the show overall.

 

Real talk, I do very much enjoy warrior Steeljaw. I feel like he needed a hinge to get the wheels on his back to suck in (and it seems like the original design probably included it, cost-cutting and what-not). Besides that though he is a cool, dynamic figure, and I love his tail. It's a great counterweight that let's you put Steeljaw in some awesome dynamic poses. I'd pick it up if you can get it for $15 or less.

 

Love the Steeljaw figure. Despite it's various problems. Cheetimus is doing a custom painted one for me. So, I'd really like a Thunderhoof, Underbite, and Fracture to go with him.

Isn't Fracture getting a larger figure with the deployer one? Still haven't found one to compare it size wise.

 

I agree with you completley. Steeljaw and his pack were such a waste as are all of the Cons in the show.

I feel like at this point Hasbro just wants to drop the Decepticons and have Autobots vs Autobots.

I'd like to see some non-Alchemor Decepticons appear or even some survivors from Prime like Soundwave or Shockwave.

 

Did everybody forget that Arachnid and her insectizombies? I like to see if they will follow up on this in season 2. It was a shame they didn't do a story or an episode in Prime. Would have liked to see how it would played out in Season 3 and Predacons Rising

 

I think there was a listing for a warrior fracture, but nothing came from it. The deployer's articulation is very limited.

 

I think we all want to forget her....unless they show her dead.

 

After they did pretty much nothing with the pack of season one, I'm not optimistic honestly. The park had only two episodes with them as the big threat, only one of which did they (temporarily) achieve a big victory. Then for the season finale they're there to bring in Megatronus and get tossed into stasis again.

 

New team for Steeljaw would be ideal, maybe I'm getting the wrong vibe they intended but to me this show is clearly homaging old cop shows and part of the fun is having a huge gallery of despicable rogues. Dick Tracy it up!

 

I was dissapointed with the pack especially once after Clampdown joined with them, they got way too incompetant especially in the break in episode.

I'd ideally like to see Steeljaw, Underbite, Chop Shop, Quillfire, Bisk, Fracture and his minons, Kickback, and Scowl return.

From TFP, I'd like Soundwave to return.

i think in prime that section was very hastily and poorly written and she made a very good villain

as for her and her legion being the "trouble maker" in season 2, i don't see it happening that's not to say the writers won't touch on the subject in rid 2015 as a flash back

as much i didn't like her i do want to know what exactly happened to her and her legion of insections, and other decepticons, megatron, shockwave and soundwave

 

Scowl totally should have been a part of Steeljaw's pack.

 

Too true! The commercial worked on me in the end. But there seems to be no direction other than "release all the good guys as Warriors and then repaint them three or more times".... "plus Steeljaw". The One-steps are similar sizes so I'm sticking with a Thunderhoof and Underbite but I hope we get some reveals of more Warrior figures soon...
