This has been bugging me for some time now, and as I was watching this episode earlier tonight, it got me wondering even more. The Autobots built a Scout using Lazerbeak's radar, in order to rescue Ratchet. Let's Starscream hasn't destroyed the Transfounder and Optimus did make the Warship, how would he be able to rescue Ratchet, with Megatron, Starscream, Soundwave, Shockwave, Knockout, Pedaking and the Vehicon troops standing in his way, without backup? Did he consider that there would be a gauntlet of Decepticons army? or would he have used the Element of Surprise?

 

I thought he would probably get on board and disable there shields so the Autobots could GroundBridge on. Or he could mark the coordinates of the ship.

Did you see Deadlock? The 8 Autobots win the war taking over a ship with 100s of Decepticons by shear force. Solo Optimus would've been able to pull off a simple rescue mission with little difficulty.

 

But predaking iss stronger than even megaton

 

But in robot mode, where he is forced to remain while in the confines of the Nemesis, he is about equal to Optimus in might but is likely not as smart.

 

You do realise Optimus Prime 2.0 is the most powerful Transformer in the whole show? Well, second most powerful, considering that Predaking took him down without breaking a sweat. Then until Unicron showed up and flat out creamed Predaking. So I guess that means that Megatron (if he had the same abilities as what Unicron gave him after he left his body) is more powerful than both Optimus Prime and Predaking put together.

 

Optimus would've probably sent the co-ordinance to the rest of the team so they could groundbridge there.

The only ones who would've poised any sort of problem to Optimus would be Predaking and maybe Soundwave. Lets analyze.

1. Megatron - completely up the creek without the Dark Star Saber.
2. Starscream, Knock Out, Shockwave - no matches for him.
3. Eradicons - haha, yeah right. Plus, Megatron has lost about 70% of his troops by this point in the show.
4. Soundwave - the Groundbridging would be a problem.

So yeah, only Predaking and Soundwave would've been problems for him.
