That's fair I guess. Even though the growth for these three characters is rather slow, at least they're getting somewhere. Even Windblade at least got taken down a peg and learnt the importance of teamwork and respect, which Strongarm and Sideswipe are still catching up on.

Hopefully the interaction between them in Season 2 will be quicker and more intense.

 

Yeah it'd be great if their banter becomes less antagonistic and more in good fun.

 

I was happy to see her in the show, but her personality didn't really do it for me. She was a little too Ace Rimmer-y. (But I did like Windblade being all, "Eh, two human lives--that's acceptable collateral.")

Also I found the conflict between Windblade and Strongarm very artificial. There was kind of a "if you have two girls in the same place of COURSE there has to be jealousy and catfights" vibe going on.

 

Personality wise, I didn't like her. Did not care for her arrogance. Is that how she is in the comic?

 

She's cute and awesome but she needs more character development then just the Primus's errand girl.

 

If you're referring to the show's comic book she hasn't appeared yet. If you refer to IDW she's more of a somewhat responsible/moral upright girl. She pretty much either focuses on her responsibilities or helping others while being somewhat socially awkward to an extent. She isn't bad but needs more characters to interact with besides Optimus, Starscream, and Chromia. Personally, I kind of want to see IDW Windblade get drunk just for the reaction.  

Pretty much my only gripe with her. Although given the fact the "Great Evil" she faces supposedly gets beaten by season one she'll have the chance to be more developed. I actually want to see an episode where Windblade loses her upgrades to some Con who steals and copies abilities, kind of like the primal Zerg consuming other species and becoming more powerful until they end up a target, and has to learn to use her normal body.

Is it wrong i want a love triangle to form between her, Sideswipe and Strongarm.  

 

I thought she was awesome!  

I only know of the character by reputation because I haven't caught up that far to the comics yet, but I love her care free personality. I wasn't a big fan of how Sideswipe, Bee, Fixit and Grimlock started fanboying over her, but they chose a great voice actress, she's beautifully drawn, and overall I can't wait to see more of her in season 2.

They probably will make them more work together and sisterly. I also suspect we're going to get something of a Bee/WB semi romance later on. Just seems that they would go that route.

 

She was alright, not terrific. I've loved the naive, sweet girl in IDW, so having a cocky, brash Windblade who immediately clashes with Strongarm because reasons was jarring.

Unlikely we'll get a new toy considering she's pretty identical to the IDW character visually, and the toy just came out a year ago.

 

Get the Legends Windblade and file off her nose.

Me too. I've been clamouring for a magical girl Transformer and I'm happy now.

it is a bit jarring especially since its still Scott writing Windblade.

and the toy would look a lot worse too.

 

She's okay and I don't have problems with her characterisation being different than IDW Windblade. Different continuity-different character.

I like her paintjob too. Those additional blue bits on her entire body are keeping it all together with her head. For comparison her Generations version sometimes looks like someone made a kitbash taking a head from some Samurai-ko action figure and placed it on a TF body.

Nope. Her comic bok self is the opposite. Calm and much less haughty. NuRiD and IDW WB share only name and look.

I'll let you know when she actually shows up. We're only on episode 18 in the US.

 

She was awesome in her intro episode, she was treated like crap in her later appearance. Basically the story of this show, if you're not Bumblebee, Grimlock or sometimes Sideswipe you get treated like shit by the writers (except Scott who managed to use them all well in Windblades debut).
