The similarities to the Nemesis was a nice touch. Octopunch was kind of forgettable as far as villains go but I have a feeling he'll be back to make a partnership with Hammerstrike in the future.

Wondering if that army of evil Fixit's might come back into play in the future.

    I'm sure they will.

Remember the "more sinister plan" thing about the Alchemor's crashing from the series synopsis on Vimeo, the ambiguity of Fixit's glitch, plus the upcoming episode where Denny tries to fix Fixit and he turns into a "weaponized killing machine. "

Plus Strongarm's anime-style traumatic flashback at the end makes it pretty clear that this will hold some (hopefully) long-term significance.

Octopunch being basically Decepticon Zoidberg was pretty funny, though I also wish he had more lines. I'm intrigued that the army of proto-Fixits was actually followed up on a couple of episodes later; I think we may get some pretty interesting reveals about him by season's end.

Makes you wonder just how clever the writers really are. Something big is going on.

Great name, but really bad design, just mutant octopus, second worst design for me.

    Funny episode, army of Fixits.

Octopunch is the most boring villain this show has had in a while. I wish the role of an aquatic Decepticon was Hammerstrike ' s return like most of us thought.

Anyone want to army build Fixit?

I continue to enjoy Bee a lot more than everyone else in this, including Grimlock, and continue to be EXTREMELY weirded out by that fact. Wish Octopunch had a bit more personality and after several great designs his was a little bland.

octopunch although i thought was kinda funny, really didn't like his design. i like that they're having fun with the con designs but some just don't do it for me. vertebreak on the other hand although really different to what we're used to i think had an awesome look.

I love the Nemesis inspired design, that was a great touch! However, Octopunch wasn't as strong a villain as Nightscream, Groundpounder or Vertebreak were.
Grimlocks side story was good, but I'm tired of Strongarm's VA always doing female roles in the series. Kristy Wu has done two so far and it's quite dull.

This episode wins in terms of character chemistry. I feel that Grimlock centered episodes seem to be the strongest for this element.

Octopunch is jewish and its hilarious. :lol

Grimlock learned a lesson and it was a pretty good one.

also the Fixit drones....so Fixit was actually a mass produced model.....hmm....

Overall, this was an enjoyable episode, I guess. Not really anything worth criticizing, but nothing outstanding. The Decepticon was dull, his design was different but not one I liked, Grimlock's story was cliche, I'm disappointed the injury was a training accident, Drift was fortunately not too uptight, Swipe/Arm, weren't great but weren't as annoying as they sometimes are, the ship looking like the Nemesis was cool, the humor wasn't great but it's been worse, and the action wasn't very noteworthy.

I liked the episode okay enough, but I was more surprised they actually decided to put "Octopunch" in a cartoon series for once.

Never thought Transformers would hit that Stereotype.

If you told me 5 years ago that Octopunch was gonna be Jewish in a Transformer cartoon, I wouldn't have believed you.

Still, glad he got an animated incarnation.

So... they just left an army of fixit's to die in the explosion. I mean, they got octopunch out of there, but those fixits were no different than their own, aside from being in working order.

This is bothering me more than it should.

The Fixit subplot didn't go much further. I thought Strongarm would have talked more about that they are Fixit drones out there....

maybe season 2....or never. You can never be sure with these writers.
