I thought the episode was pretty enjoyable and I really liked the whole dark vibe the episode was showing. I can't wait to see how Nightstrike will end up as a toy.

Very good episode. Love Nightstrike's design and voice a lot.

My only complaint is that we never found out about the 5 Decepticon life signals that lead the Bumblebee's team to the cave... And from what I saw, there were no other bots Nightstrike captured beyond Righty from Chop Shop and Bumblebee's team, and if there were any bots, there wasn't any mention of them. It couldn't have been Steeljaw's crew, because I thought the whole point of scratching out their Decepticon insignias was to destroy the tracking mechanism - or am I mistaken?

Well those signals went out almost immediately, so I perceived that as being an implication that Nightstrike had captured some Decepticons off-screen and then, you know, drained their Energon (killed them) like he intended to drain (kill) Team Bee. They just weren't explicit about it because it's a show for young kids. It's just there for the older/adult audience to enjoy, but go over the youngins' heads. A lot of kids shows do it.

    ^^ that is possible ^^

leading into another question about nightstrike: if nightstrike drained all of the five decepticons' energies than why would nightstrike drain an autobot's energy unless nightstrike uses up energy very fast

good catch and true the intention was to capture the decepticons

it was very possible that nightstrike could have captured them and put them into a nightmare state in another cavern

or the decepticons figured out a way to turn off a "tracking signal"

I thought it was Steeljaw's team actually.

but i don't think that would make sense since we know they're still around despite having not appeared in a while and will be back soon.

This episode was much better than the last one.

Denny is great. There was this one scene where Fixit is stuttering, and then Denny just whacks him, without any fanfare, and the scene continues on like normal. This is an example of a genuinely enjoyable moment.

What TFP usually does is scream at you "HEY, WE'RE BEING FUNNY NOW. WE'RE BEING FUNNY NOW." while they do something stupid like have Grimlock be afraid of a cat.

Autobots weren't as ridiculous, except Grimlock. Not a big deal.

Of course, still lame pokemon Decepticons. They haven't even transformed in the past two episodes, so now it's just shameless.

    On to the next episode...

I dunno why, but even after watching the episode and hearing the voice, my mind still wants me to imagine Brain's voice coming out of that bat's mouth, not Tom Kenny. Weird.

Although after this ep, I definitely wanna see an ep where Grim takes on a Deception that looks like a kitten. :lol  :ev:

Even though I knew what to expect, I laughed a lot during the episode. Especially "your face" expressions.

Was the point about physical memory, that made doctor Insanity's movements obvious for SideSwipe's head?

Just got a chance to watch, pretty decent episode, nice to see what gives all these Autobots nightmares.
Sad that Bee is so worried about disappointing Optimus, Grim is afraid of the kitteh's. Should have guessed Strongarm would be worried about breaking the law...and Sideswipe panicked about getting boxed in and can't move. :lol  Nice little glimpses inside their minds...uhm 'processors'.

Had the feeling Nightstrike was/should be Nightscream, would have been a better name since his echo gave bots 'nightmares', but guess they have to add a new name once in a while, lest we get confused. :p

Did anyone else hear a bit of the tfp theme when russel tells Denny he's scared of losing him at the end of the episode?

9/10. I loved the horror theme and building tension. It was cool getting to see all the 'Bots fears. Similarly, the scene of the 'Bots trying to scare Russell was fun. They really allowed us to understand their characters better. Chop Shop's inclusion was a nice detail. My only complaint is, once again, Russell. His hipster attitude is so annoying.
