Bumblebee gets a visit from an old friend, Sideswipe learns a lesson, ya'know all that jazz...

As a fan of "Dexter's Lab" I got a big kick out of this week's 'Con.

 

Edit: Actually, lets try something different this week.

I know a thread for Ep10 was made back in March, but perhaps people would prefer a "fresh" one

Not spoiling it for people who haven't seen it, but it's awesome! I loved the little shoutout to WFC/FOC games as well as the novels themselves.

 

I don't know about the rest of you, but I think Ped would make a fantastic Warrior class figure.

I mean look at him.

 

Mandark.

Freaking robo Mandark.

I sure got a kick outta that.

 

Ped needs a voyager.

 

That won't happen, but it should...

Anyways next week, Bumblebee does through reverse puberty.

i woke up 6-8 minutes after the airing on cartoon network west(repeat channel)began but it wasn't enough to ruin the experience for me

not sure where I'd Rank this...it's not as good as last week but it's not as blah as the filch episode

 

I like Mandark but I'm a bit iffy on the voice being Ped's...I know the joke is that he's got a nerdy voice despite his monstrous design but i think it could have been a little gruffer sounding.

 

I think they should have switched Quillfires voice with Ped.

 

Seeing Jazz again was great, like that he had eyes not just a visor, but it came in handy for fighting.  

He and Sideswipe made pretty good partners against the con....

Poor Grimlock... dinobot in the hole.

Ped was... strange. Giant mole-sandworm-killer whale thing with tentacle-wheel legs (pleasantly referred to as simply a Decepticon instead of a "Worminoid" or some crap) with Mandark's voice and a weird 3-letter name. And a pretty wild color scheme to boot.

Did the Autobots have Energon before? Seems like it just came out of nowhere.

I do wish Jazz kept his visor down, not for "G1" but because everyone has the same kind of face in this aesthetic. Well, everyone that isn't a monster or whatever.

 

WOW JAZZ WAS SO COOL... and he's gone for now.

Favorite episode of the series so far!

 

I don't think that would work either...though Quillfire would have been more hammier.

anyways in the Japanese dub Wataru Takagi is Jazz and Daisuke Sakaguchi is Ped.

Just thought some people might be interested in knowing this.

 

Jazz should just have a visor, but then mentally challenged 1 year olds wouldn't be able to tell what he was feeling.

Ped is a terrible name. It sounds short for pedophile. I can't believe they will use it and not Slag. As for his design, it seems hard to tell exactly what he is supposed to be. He is a bit of a mess.

I thought the episode was average. The last couple have been better, but that isn't saying much at this point.

I'm still not sure I see any point to this show's existence.

 

The highlights of this episode were definitely Sideswipe and Jazz. It was good to see Sideswipe get some solo screen time and grow a bit character wise. Jazz was, as expected, very cool. Hope to see more of him.

Ped wasn't a poor Decepticon, but certainly wasn't the best. It took me the whole episode to figure out his name was Ped and not Peg.

 

apparently the romanization of it from japan is peddo... the plot thickens ^_^

what i hate about him is his face. it's just a black mass of nothing... i don't get it :/ i like his weird leggy shufflers though haha  

 

Jazz and Sideswipe were a great team up and I wish Jazz was a regular to the show. As for Ped, I feel the same for him as every Decpticon so far. They are just baddie of the week.
