Eleven episodes in now to RID2015, what scenes/moments have stuck with you the most?

One of my favorite moments so far was in episode 5 when Bumblebee was trying to contact Optimus for advice by talking into the mirrors.

Just the music and the emotion in his voice when he looks down and utters "This is ridiculous."

For me, that was just a really well done moment for Bumblebee and how he's adjusting to his leadership role.

It moved me a bit.  

So what are some of your favorite moments from RID2015 so far?

 

I liked how sideswipe and jazz talked at the end of that episode   and fixit and the boy'sdad working together.

 

steeljaw trying to fool strongarm, all that up to when they kick his ass was awesome.

also i love that when the autobots try to fool the cons mostly they know what games they are playing. sideswipe failed against at playing games with steeljaw and thunderhoof, those guys know what they're doing.

to be fair there have been loads of good moments in this series. the cult remembering about thunderhoof's demands haha you guys are gonna get things for me else i'm gonna break stuff and by stuff i mean you! or how ever it was phrased was so funny i liked how it was reminiscent of astrotrain playing good of a planet but totally nonchalant like so funny

 

Bumblebee- "Good thing we're getting stronger all the time too"

That scene, man. Something clicked inside me and I got all emotional. It was really the perfect line to end an episode where Sideswipe refused to acknowledge Grimlock as the enemy, and where Grimlock officially became an Autobot.

I also like the seen when Steeljaw introduces himself to Strongarm...it's the way Troy Baker did his lines...it was fantastic delivery.

 

RID moments are like a bowl of Reese's, you can't choose because they're all so good.

now that we're 14 episodes in I suppose this could see more discussion.

episode 13 is really solid. almost everything with the Decepticons is great and there's a lot of solid moments with Team Bee too.

Bumblebee obsessing about the derth of Decepticon activity.

Grimlock being creeped out by Clampdown was adorable.

Sideswipe's "crabby" joke, and the whole team snickering, I like how they're all becoming friends.

Bumblebee losing his compusure with his "it's always something" rant and his team is just like "...."

I love the references to Bumblebee's past and his experiences in the war. Like in episode 6 when Grimlock asked Strongarm and BB if they know what it feels like to be thrown through a mountain.

Strongarm is like "no  " and Bumblebee is just straight faced "Yes"

I laughed out loud. That's also intresting that Grim knows what its like to be thrown through a mountain, meaning he's probably seen combat before.

Underbite and Fracture raising their eyebrows at Clampdown and CD acting all cute and nervous was amusing.

And I thoroughly enjoyed Thunderhoof's flip out once he recognizes Clampdown and the way Steeljaw intervened.

The trash yard fight was great, I loved in particular when Steeljaw literally tried to crush Bumblebee to death. That was a real "Oh shit" moment for me.

And then BB abandoning his pursuit of the escaped Steeljaw to rescue that boat was cool, I love how Bumblebee tried so hard to be like Optimus in episods 5 because he didnt feel good enough as a leader, but he naturally has so many Optimus like qualities like his compassion for humans and his value for their lives over his mission.

Another moment like this is in episode 10 when BB drops everything to hold up the cieling and says something to Strongarm along the lines of "Save the humans---no matter what!"

And then at the end of the episode it turns out Bee knew Strongarm was sneaking off base the whole time and didn't really give a shit.

I just love this show so much. It's top tier Transformers in my opinion and I can't wait to see where they take it.

 

When Steeljaw finally assembles his team.

That was awesome...even if they are all the last bunch of character that'd team up with each other.

Steeljaw's best quote is "Savour the Daylight...Things are about get a little dark!"

 

I like mine because he laid down the rules for Thunderhoof

I guess Decepticons even accept insane kleptomaniacs who have no prerogative beyond shiny things. I loved Filch.

Also, the fight between Steeljaw's rogues and Bee's team was great.

 

Fracture. Really loved his introductory into the show and need to see more of him.

Also Optimus Prime's training session with Micronus Prime.

 

That was the most out of place line in the whole series.

 

Yeah, FM is right. It's a cool line by itself and a great bio quote, but the way they just shoe horned it in there actually took me out of the scene a bit.

They could have done so much better.

My favorite Steeljaw quote so far is growling "I seriously doubt that" in response to Bumblebee's arrest threat, and then attacking him in episode 13.

It's not much of a line by itself, but Troy Baker's delivery and the context of the interaction really worked well for me. I loved it.

 

Steeljaw actually said

"Oh, I highly doubt that, ARHHH"

 

Does he? Well to the same effect, it's still my favorite.

 

Or

"Clampdown realizes that after all we have done for him, if he were to work against us, I would not rest until I've made him eat his own claws."

 

I liked that one also, but you could tell they kept it tame for the younger target audience.

In Prime he probably would have threatened to rip out Clampdown's spark or something to that effect.
