Fracture and his guys were pretty cool. Too bad none of the toys are remotely the type I'd want to buy. A bit odd how they're "legit" Decepticons instead of branded criminals. I wonder if that'll lead anywhere?

    Drift was... stereotypical.

6 new characters is pretty impressive, if at the cost of really distinct personalities. (and it seemed a bit "toyetic", but I dunno if that's just because I'm aware of the gimmicky toys coming out)

Fixit bringing up the criminal records just HAS to appear in every episode, doesn't it?

Russel... meh. This time around the humans are pretty uninteresting.

There are quite a few plot elements that *could* lead to interesting places, but I don't really have the confidence this show will actually go there. Maybe, maybe not.

David McDermott also wrote for RID and Cybertron's dub scripts as well as wrote a few episodes of Prime too.

    He's a solid writer overall.

Yes, I am aware. This is his first RiD 2 episode though. It was just so much better than any other episode that it makes it pretty likely he is responsible for the jump in quality, and I would be interested to see if I am right.

I liked this episode. Drift's Minicons were more interesting than I expected; they're still not quite what I'd want out of the names Slipstream and Jetstorm, but as individual characters, I like them. Fracture and his crew are the first legitimate Decepticons we've seen, I think. I hope we get to see some more of them. They seem to have potential, especially with the rivalry with Drift. I would have liked more(/any) characterization for Airazor and Divebomb, though. Hopefully that'll show up later.

If you're talking about the March quotes.... those folks watched it before it aired on CN... streaming/dl's etc.

I enjoyed this episode quite a bit... Like Drift's design... kept getting a TFP Starscream vibe with Fracture's design.

These episodes were available to some countries months before the US got them and the folks starting this thread wanted to be respectful. :)

^ Haha, I caught the new episode of Pokemon the other day and couldn't help but think how that show had it's fair share of things it just had to insert into every episode. Like, this one's about some evil scientist framing Ash's current Gym Leader friend for all sorts of crimes by using imposter robots, and then Team Rocket makes a hamfisted entrance because we just gotta do the Rocket Motto––steal Pokemon––Pokemon destroys their balloon––Blasting Off Agaaaaaain routine.

*sigh* Looks like my age is finally catching up to me...

Also, I could swear the "Who's That Pokemon" segments weren't so blatantly obvious back in my day.
