I haven't seen episode ten yet like most people but seeing as we already have an episode 11 discussion, I thought I'd make this for those who have seen episode ten.

 

it is my favorite episode so far, I have already watched it twice, and I will definitly watch it again very soon

 

I can't wait for this episode. Jazz is finally going to be on TV for the first time since '09.

 

And the best part is, he won't be split in two like in '07.   I kid, I kid.

Looking forward to seeing him again. Wonder if he's gonna tell the story about Prime diving into a furnace while visiting Junkion.   Probably not.

I'm excited for all of us! Transformers TV shows have been severely lacking in Jazz for the past 6 years, heh.

I have a question: what was that TV show the Autobots were watching?

I thought it was something adult, I made a post about it and it got taken down, which I probably should have expected.

While his major limelight was in 2007, he at least managed to survive TFA.

 

All that Jazz   Love it.. I cannot wait!

 

This is the ep I've been waiting for...saw the Chinese version and even tho I couldn't understand him, his mannerisms just screamed Jazz! My fav bot finally getting into something again! Gawd I hope he eventually joins the main cast. (I also had wished Troy would voice him since he was already in the show and I adored him as Jazz in FoC, but oh well).

 

Pretty pumped to see Jazz again, I certainly hope he becomes more recurring somewhere down the line.

 

I'm sure he'll be this shows equivalent to Wheeljack. One shot in Season 1, recurring in Season 2 and finally a main character in season 3.

 

I'm hoping he may get more than that-- hopefully he or Drift might come back in the season 1 finale, at least.

 

Having not been seen since TFA, Jazz no doubt is gonna make one hell of a comeback! I cannot wait to hear his voice!

 

Seriously! That's the one thing that's got me the most excited-- the only time I've ever heard this voice actor was a bit role in Beware the Batman (though he's apparently quite prolific in video games), and I really wanna see what his take on Jazz is like.

 

Dammit, I was hoping that the construction worker would've been Vogel. Another missed chance, writers!

Funny moments:

-Grimlock trying to step on Fixit's shoulders
-Fixit getting his face stepped on by Sideswipe
-Fixit flying face-forward into the ground

I think you get the point: Fixit can take a hell of a lot of abuse.

 

Now that was a fun episode. I'm glad they finally did a hero/villain parallel story and while I think it would've worked better with "Collect em' all" it really helped this episode as well.

Oddly for the first half of the episode I was a little disappointed. Not hearing Ped say anything and just sorta being there to be the bad guy I assumed they left the new voice budget to Jazz alone figuring he'd be the more focused on character, but man when Ped spoke did I get a smile on my face, to have him be voiced by Eddie Deezan was great and I loved hearing that classic Mandark voice coming from a Decepticon. Also kudos to the writers for going a bit out there for Ped's animal influence, he seems to be taking notes from the Mongolian death worm and oddly enough, Barry the giant sea worm.

And is it just me or did the animation change/get better for a few seconds when Ped had Bee in his claws and did the whole gloating villain thing?

 

Man, the running gags are really dragging this show's humor down. Fixit's speech impediments, and Bee's pathetic attempts at catch phrases just aren't funny. The show does have genuinely funny moments like Grimlock stepping on Fixit. If they could get rid of the running gags, I'd be able to say the humor was really good.

It was cool seeing Jazz, I guess, but he was rather... meh. I dunno. I just didn't buy the whole "cool guy" schtick. Or maybe I've finally gotten tired of it, after all these years. He never was a favorite of mine, although no Autobot ever has been. At least not before MTMTE.

Tasmanian-devil-atron was also pretty lackluster. He was powerful, but I always hate characters with those high pitched voices, with performances you'd describe with words like "sniveling" and "pathetic".

On the plus side, Denny got some more awesome moments, using that crane, especially fighting Ped with it. He's easily shaping up to be my favorite human character in all of Transformers.

Overall, it wasn't a bad episode, but I didn't really enjoy it.

 

I liked it! I found Jazz cool like he usually is, using the usual slang that we're so used to hearing. That's definitely the Jazz I know and love. I found it amusing that Sideswipe was trying to impress him, but he didn't really have to in the first place. I loved that little shout out to his sonic speaker system. His voice was ok, not what I was expecting, but it was ok nonetheless.

Got a few giggles here and there. I'm just starting to find Fixit's glitching annoying. I just shake my head at Bee still trying to find the right catchphrase for his team, still gets a few smirks from me for his attempt at a pun.

 

The council is back on Cybertron, like Cybertron High Command.
