Not too early but to save threads, next week lets just make a discussion for two episodes but anyway there are some spoilers, not major spoilers but here is something to get excited for Kevin Michael Richardson who played Bulkhead will play the new Decepticon Terrashock and Optimus Prime returns aswell. Both of them will be in tomorrow.

I've been really enjoying this show so far! A lot more than I thought I would. The animation has grown on my quite a bit.

 

Can't wait to grab this new episode by the horns and really get this rodeo started  

 

I'll be watching this first thing tommorrow morning.

 

I think it's better to leave it to one episode per thread, since they air at different times and since people may have already watched the Chinese and/or French episodes, so the airdates for NZ and Oz are irrelevant to them. I've got to assume the US will air one at a time (apart from the first two), too, but I'm really not sure.

Anyway, this episode is pretty good. They basically straight-up address Hot Rod/Rodimus, so I think they're aware of what not to do with Bumblebee, and that's good. Lots of cowboy stuff this week. There are a lot of references that I don't get but that are clearly there. I think there're some Indiana Jones references, too, but I've never actually managed to sit through those movies yet, so I can't say for sure.

 

Optimus said The Primes so his mission will be shown soon although after ep 13

 

Ep14 Is the beginning of his journey with the prime(s) on the show - He tends to be communicating with one in particular

 

He mentioned them so must be he now know his journey but why would he need to do anything when he has already fought for Cybertron

 

Perhaps there's a bigger threat in the near future that we don't know about yet?

 

I think that's exactly the case-- I mean, as bad as a Decepticon prison break is, I don't think that's QUITE big enough for Optimus to warn Bumblebee from beyond the grave about. I'm certain he foresaw something even worse coming afterward.

Also, is it just me, or was the animation especially great in this episode?

 

I felt so bad for Bumblebee in this one..

 

Me too-- you really get a sense of just how hard it is for him to try and fill Optimus' shoes in this one.

 

Another awesome episode! I wasn't as big on the villain this time, but I like the whole cowboy thing, and Bee's Optimus impression. Also, Strongarm didn't do the regulation thing, so I enjoyed her more. Also, the Megatron and Starscream references were neat.

 

I dunno, I thought Terrashock was interesting enough. Perhaps he was slightly less colourful than the last couple of villains, but I liked the idea of him being basically a professional leg breaker for more influential Cons, and his vehicle mode was cool. And on top of that, I liked Kevin Michael Richardson's voice work for him, and his movements were exceptionally well-animated. Especially during that final chase scene!

 

I really enjoyed this episode and I just wanted to facepalm at Bee's attempts to sound just like Optimus. What caught me by surprise was Optimus somehow being interrupted during his contact with Bumblebee.

Everything seems to be getting better the more the series goes on. Fifth episode in and already stuff is getting good. The fact that we were given a hint about Optimus making contact with Bumblebee when he is most needed according to the Primes can only say so much.

Also... "CANNONBALL!"

 

Guys, please don't spoil episodes that aren't out in English yet, especially in discussion threads for earlier episodes.
