I am excited for tomorrow's episode because of this

Kevin Michael Richardson who played Bulkhead will play the new Decepticon Terrashock and Optimus Prime returns aswell. Both of them will be in tomorrow.

Now that you mention it, I actually remember that happening. Huh. I had completely forgotten. Oh well.
You might want to put "*SPOILERS*" in the thread title next time, though, for a couple of reasons - #1, EnergonWaffles already started that and now all the posts for RID tend to have it and I like it looking tidy because I'm OCD or something (this reason is basically me spazzing out) and #2, it's quicker and easier for people to read (because frankly, a lot of people who just post blatant spoilers aren't going to read more than one word before doing so). It's not a big deal or anything, but it's just my opinion that it's better. And more uniform which stops me from flipping out. :p

I'm confused. Why would it be uploaded that soon when it doesn't air until next Sunday? Is it airing in English somewhere else before New Zealand?

So whilst I wait for the episode to render (I'm still editing out the ads but my computer is being an ass right now, so I'm only about halfway there whilst I wait for FCP to render the rest of the footage so it can be edited), I may as well talk about the episode.

    ---

I enjoyed Bisk (but that should surprise no one), although I was a bit disappointed that he was essentially a throw-away character. I'm really hoping we get some of these Decepticons freed later on so that they get more time in the spotlight (especially Bisk).

Chop-Shop is just great. So great. The idea is really cool, and I love that they basically did with Fixit what the combiners did in Scramble City (ironic, considering my joke yesterday about Scramble City being the finale of RID). Not sure about his accent, though (I like it, but I don't know if it really suits him).

The whole episode felt like it was about "the little guys", and I enjoyed that. Rusty is still an enjoyable character. I mean, it's a bit cheesy and he's definitely a young human boy, but he's a nice kid, and he has a little girlfriend which is adorable (although I've gotta say, I much prefer the name "Henrietta" to "Hank", but she's obviously trying to fit in with the boys. Side-note, was I the only one that thought of Hank Hill the moment they said her "name"?) if a little awkward (but that's probably just me).

I still like Denny. He doesn't do a lot but I like what he does do. He doesn't need to do any more than that, to be honest.

Grimlock is kind of like a big baby and it's great.

I find Fixit legitimately hilarious, and even his speech glitching was only done once this episode (as far as I recall) and sounded slightly different (less predictable), so that was nice.

Overall, I enjoyed it. I don't think it was as good as the previous episode, but there's nothing inherently wrong with it.

As usual, if anyone is interested in checking it out, I'll have a review on my blog later today.

    Anyone think that
Poughkeepsie Piledriver indicates that Crown City is around New York?

Well I was quite entertained by this episode. Chop Shop was interesting as a stereotypical British burglar. Strongarm's getting better, and we're being introduced to more human characters. I wonder how long it'll be before Hank finds out about the Autobots (Hell, she SAW Grimlock)...I think it's inevitable.

I love this episode! I hope we get to see more of Chopshop, he was pretty neat, and I love the Fixit combining thing, that was so funny, especially when he starts punching Chopshop. I love all the characters, although my early suspicions about Strongarm seem to be true, her constant quoting of rules is starting to get old, lol. While still being a decent character, I feel she's the weakest one. Everyone else is great though, I especially find Fixit and Grimlock to be funny in this episode. I love the sight gags and jokes and references, it's all so wonderful. Hopefully Hasbro continues this show for a long time.

OMG, just watched the episode and... wow! That was so much fun! Fixit has given me a reason to like him now. Grimlock, you adorable, helpful pal, you! Love the pacing of the series, hope to see Hank again.

They're really starting to kick up the amount of references in the episodes aren't they? Episodes 1-3 didn't have all that many but man this episode really was chock full of em'.

Looking forward to episode 5 when it comes out, and that's no bull. ;)

Not as good as the first three episode but it was okay. I'm not really fond of humans in general in Transformers so I'm not that interested in their story, but hey, at least they are not annoying... yet! I just love Grimlock, he is just so amusing, I hope we get some of his back story soon. I had watched this episode before in Chinese, might be why I felt so uninterested. I also don't really care for Fixit, he's a tiny bit annoying.

I really enjoy this episode, but I had some troubles with Chopshop's accent. I think I have to get use to it to understand better what he says. And I just hated how he used Fixit against his will!! That was very disturbing to me :S Poor little one! Glad he could fight back and freed himself. I really love Fixit.

    Same here, yay!! :D

Bumblebee is a 1995 car? I always thought he was a futuristic car.

Is that a Mazda RX-8 next to him, as in Alternators/Binaltech Jazz?

It's possible that he kept images of tons of yellow sportscars somewhere with him and decided that the Urbana 500 was getting old during his time on cybertron. He probably decided to be a Griffin among other muscle cars for a while instead of a no-wheel hover car.

I didn't really like this episode. It seems so far that the 'Cons are just getting snapped up within 5 minutes.

    Haha, Camaro on the left.

It's a 22 minute cartoon though, 5 minutes is precisely the right amount of time an action segment should be taking, and in the actual episode and canon Chop Shop got the best out of the Autobots two times out of three and took them days to finally get him done with.

Well if "Griffin Motors" has anything to do with Griffin Rock, then it would be a semi futuristic looking car for 1995.

Still didn't like this episode though. Chop Shop and TFP references were the only good thing.

Finally got to watch this episode. Man, I loved it so much. Probably because I've recently been watching Star Trek, primarily TNG, one of the most dull shows I've ever watched.

As soon as the episode started, I wondered what interesting Decepticon we'd be treated to this time. I love being able to be excited for the 'Cons for the first time in years. It almost disappointed with the incredibly unfunny Bisk, but quickly replaced him with the one I've been most looking forwards to. Spider Combiner! He was badass, and that scene of him slowly combining halfway through the episode was awesome.

The stuff with Russel was a little cliche, and sorta strange at times, but again, I've been watching Star Trek. By the second season of TNG, I was relieved when dumb cliches started happening just so I could get a laugh.

The constant gags with Grimlock's dino-mode being a terrible disguise were hilarious, and I'm kinda liking Bee's multi-episode running gag of trying to come up with his own catchphrase.

And of course, there's the focus of the episode. Fixit, the minicon, wants to go on the battlefield, but of course, isn't allowed to. It's protocol that all minicons remain at their posts. But his neglectful guardians send the naive young minicon on a mission, and the combiner goes all Scramble City on his ass. The minicon escapes, but is shown that he is most comfortable in the place he has been put in.

This was a very good episode to show that every Transformer has their place. Primus made Fixit as a minicon to preform a specific task. The Functionists know this, and as such, know best.

Haha I love Chop Shop's accent even though I can only understand half of what he's said.
Hope the one escaped will reappear soon!
