It always intrigues me that England has so many accents given its size. Yes, the US has many accents, but it often takes several hours of driving to get from one to another. Whereas sometimes it seems you could take a 10-minute stroll through London and go from one to another.

It is quite fascinating...the said could be said about Europe, there borders aren't too far from each other yet sound different and a bit similar.

The one highlight of this episode, Chop Shop. Loved his accent. Wonder how that remaining component will come back into play?

Fairly good episode. I like Grimlock now. He's grown on me. He's a nice, funny, boisterous bot. I like Hank as well, she's a decent human character. Still not fond of Russell though. Denny is much better. Chop Shop was cool enough but I thought the part where we used Fixit as an arm was stupid and didn't really add to the episode. The pacing was off as well.

However, this episode leaves food for thought. How did Denny get such a proper ID? The Autobots probably made it. But, I get an odd feeling about him. He's awfully accepting of this alien madness. Perhaps he works/worked for Fowler? Also, the part where Strongarm reads out about how Minicons aren't meant to do anything but stay at their post. That has discriminatory undertones. Maybe the new Cybertronian government/leadership could be antagonists later on.

I've binged on the season the other day.

I really enjoyed Chop Shop, he was fun and different. Hank was a neat addition,
but it's a shame that she doesn't show up again.

My only complaint is that Russell feels a bit like a tack on rather then a core part of the show, which is a bit weird.

Hmmm, are they built "like a Rock?"

(Still hoping for some Rescuebots crossover action)

Blasphamy! I'm kidding. To each his own, if you've only gotten to season two so far things get a LOT more interesting down the road. It's a more intellectual show so if you're expecting insane ship to ship combat and John Woo style fights, then I can't help you. It was done on a syndicated TV budget (Good lord!) almost 30 years ago (cries). If it amuses you, the background "hum" of the Enterprise is actually one of the producer's office A/C units amplified (TRIVIA!) so it kinda adds to the "long day in the cubicle" feel to the show.

Be nice if the link still worked,,,, just sayin'

I need a Grimlock/Cool-Aid man gif like yesterday! Bonus if it's some of the more warped ones like from Robot Chicken (when he crashes into the Space Shuttle and the crew gets blown into space)

The moment he said "Grass-terpiece" I knew it was all over for that golf-course. Older fans anyone thinking Caddyshack? Damn Gophers!

I didn't even assume that was his proper name, I thought Bumblebee was making a crack. Bisque is a type of soup, often made with lobster or crab.

That would be an awesome twist, if in a late episode, Denny goes to one of his trinkets in the diner (Denny's diner, still cracks me up) and opens a hidden panel and reports in to Skywatch or whoever.

As far as the ID, you'd be surprised at how quick you can flash one if somebody's not on their game. Also Denny collects odd stuff, you never know he might have found an old badge in a car trunk or something.

Minicons do seem to be 2nd class citizens on Cybertron.

Okay onto stuff nobody's addressed yet:

Fixit doesn't transform at all? Or just doesn't transform into anything that would be an effective disguise?

I came up with the theory that now that the war is over "Decepticon" is now analogous to "prisoner". With the theory that when you are jailed you are branded with a Decepticon badge with an implanted tracking device. Steeljaw claimed to be an undercover cop, but he clawed off his badge to disable his tracking device. We'll see if they address this when Grimlock gets an Autobot badge.

Everybody has warmasks now. Kinda cool.

Watched it on TV for the first time thanks to a hotel tv. It was nice rewatching this episode. I can't wait to see more of Choppy. I actually had to wake up early for a festival down where I am so it worked out well.

I have been going into these episodes cold. Not knowing anything about them. My thoughts:

-- loved Bisque. Right amount of weird.

-- liked when Hank shows up at Rustys place and his dad just goes "so can *I* call you Rusty now?" "No!" :lol  great little father son moment.

-- when Chop Shop said us, I thought there was going to be another bot hidden or a minion bot like a cassetticon. Didn't imagine he was made up of spiders. Neat.

    -- Oh Yeah! :lolol

I really enjoyed Chop Shop. I wasn't expecting him to be a combiner, so that was a fun surprise. Do we know if he'll be getting a decent figure?

Also, the acronym for the "Hazardous Utility Bureau" would be the HUB. I assume that was intentional.

Oh yeah, another thing. Didn't BB tell the others to call for backup before engaging?
I could have sworn he did,,,

So who goes in guns blazing the minute he spots the con?

Sorry Bee, you earned that sting session.

I was hoping someone else caught that!

This episode was really entertaining, it seems like the awkwardness of the intro/exposition episodes is wearing off and the show is getting into a groove. I've only been watching as it airs on tv, and really look forward to Steeljaw popping up again.

That was a fun episode :D

    - Each Decepticon villain introduced seems to have his own charm and appeal. Chop Shop was done amazingly well. I really hope we see more of this Con.

    - It was enjoyable to see Fixit get some spotlight love. He's still somewhat of an iffy character for me, but this episode won me over a bit with his involvement.

    - Best shot of the entire episode was when Chop Shop close-lined Bumblebee, then proceeded to sidekick him. That sequence reminded me of all the good parts of TF: Prime.

    - "Rusty's" side story was kind of lame, but I understand its purpose. I think we'll see more human development carry over from this.

I'm starting to think this series is a step backward from Prime for me. It's been feeling a little like TFA Season 1 with a new villain of the week. I'm hoping that format changes soon. Also, I agree that Rusty's side story was lame/pre-teen awkward. I much prefer Prime's humans, though, after reading MTMTE and RID, I think it's entirely possible to do a show without a human element. Though I'm not a fan of the general designs and more "heroic" proportions to the characters, the animation is quite gorgeous... looks like a very fluid painting. Still gonna stick with it but hoping it changes soon.

I don't think this is even Animated level yet at all. It is pretty lame. The whole football thing was totally unnecessary and provided literally nothing to the show. Having the girl named Hank is extremely forced too, and I wonder if someone is a King of the Hill fan or something.

Also, these episodes are all the same so far, and they end very abruptly. I am losing interest extremely quickly, especially considering some of the cooler designs likely won't even get toys that don't transform in less than 1 step and have 1 paint app.
