I am tiny bit skeptical, but any new transformers show I look forward to.

Not looking forward to it at all. I loved G1 even with all of its errors. Loved BW and Prime for the animation and even parts of the dark tones of those ones. With Rescue Bots still airing I don't see why they need two preschool transformers shows. Why cant we have one of each type? One for a bit older crowd (teens and up) And one for the youngsters witch would be recue bots. I feel this one is going to have horrible comedy along with not so good animation. From what I have seen of the transformations so far it just is laughable to me. This one ill pass on most likely but ill watch maybe an episode or so just to check it out.

    I'm not excited at all.

My hopes: They've learned their lessons from Prime and will make a genuinely enjoyable series.

    My expectations: They don't care.

Not excited. It looks more cartoony and younger child orientated than Animated was. Its on par with Rescue Heroes.

I hope it's a show I can watch with my two sons (6 & 8) so yes, I am looking forward to it.

LOL at anyone protesting that it's aimed at children. I was there thirty years ago, and I was VERY glad Transformers was aimed at children!!

Sorry, I dont mean to be a wet blanket.

But from what Ive seen, it simply dosnt measure up to Prime.

It looks like a cross between Rescue Bots and Animated...

Hopefully a good figure or two will come out of it...

Aren't Rescue bots & Animated both better than Prime?

    Not in the least.
-I've never been a fan of Flash-style animation, and nothing I've seen so far has piqued my interest.
-Also, I'm kind of tired of over-stylized characters (Sideswipes 'hair' makes me cringe). Animated was fresh and strong enough to carry it out effectively, and Prime had enough of a movie/realism cross to make the stylizing work well. RiD just looks like a step backwards, causing none of the figures to be cohesive with anything before it.
-I'm more into a series that I can enjoy the figures for, and I just don't see myself diving into another offering that doesn't fit aesthetically on my shelves. Sadly, not even the Cyberverse stuff appeals to me, and I love Legends/Legion/Cyberverse lines.

So to sum it up... No.

Also, a lobster-bot named Bisque? Really? No thanks.

I'm neither excited nor negative. I'm sure it will be at least acceptable, but I am not really looking forward to it. I'll probably wait until the season ends before I watch any.

I can proudly say I'm looking forward to it.

Prime was certainly not my cup of tea- with the bland characters, relic hunting arcs, among other things. Believe me, I like a dark storyline (Animated's later episodes, Beast Wars), when it's done right. Prime was not, for me.

I really loved Animated, so far- this seems to be a bit similar in the style and humor. I hope we see better characters in this series. I have hopes for it, so I hope it turns out well in the end. Remember, at first people hated Animated for seeming too "Kiddish", too and look how that turned out.

I love Bisque already. I will dine on lobster bisque while I watch his first appearance!

Not super hyped or anything, but I am looking forward to it. Would that count as mellow optimism? I enjoyed TFP a lot, and so a continuation of its story and characters makes me happy. I hope to see Arcee and KnockOut return among others and yeah.
