How could they call this series Robots in Disguise?

And not include the greatest shark in town?

Sky-Byte seems to making a comeback now. A role in IDW, a Generations/Legends toy. It's time he got back into the TV business.

He would be a perfect fit with the wacky animal type Decepticons in RID2

Just don't imprison him and forget about him after his first episode...

    1) because some of the robots are actually trying to hide the fact they are infact robots.?

    2) If he is one of cons team Bee needs to round up most likely he wont be anything like he was in that RID.

Because the last Robots in Disguise series is nearly FIFTEEN years old and the kids Hasbro's hoping to snag with THIS series wouldn't have even been born and thus are unlikely to even care about Sky-Byte

Still seems weird they couldn't be bothered to think of a new title, though.

I can't wait for the new Transformers Armada animated series in 2017 that has no relation to the old cartoon.

But they could renew Sky-Byte's character with children

You could literally transplant his character from RID1 to RID2 and I feel, based on our current knowledge of the series and it's premise, would work well.

At least one Decepticon probably resorted to poetry in that prison ship. Why not Sky-Byte?

(based on what has been shown so far) The cons (Grimlock excluded) have a beastly bot mode with a vehicle alt mode. What vehicle alt would you want him to have to go with his sharkish bot mode?
but like I was meaning, he'd be so changed to at the very least be bordering on name-slappage

But they care about Bisque, right? Every kid knows Bisque!

But seriously dude, preeeetty sure they could stick fishface into this show and he wouldn't scare and confuse children. They'd just think he's a new charatcer, and older fans coud recognise an old favourite return.

You know... just like every series that brings someone back. And Op has a point, Sky-byte would fit in with the beast bots and the new lighter tone would go great with his personality. (better than IDW's take on him)

In Animated he was a Lugnut-retool, so a heavy bomber would be toppy-tippers.

Again, what's there to change? And even if there were changes, I could see it, again, being at least better than his IDW portrayal.

Well, this profile silhouette could be our fish face friend. Strikes me as being an aquatic...fuzor.... idk. The head just made me think "shark"

Bisk's, Underbite's, and Steeljaw's sillouette's were in the same reel, so the silhouette's don't seem to be just filler.

With the apparently hundreds of Decepticon prisoners now loose on Earth, and many of them appearing to have animal themes to their designs, we could very well see Sky-Byte in this new show at some point. I'm not counting on it, cause us RID fans get so few bones tossed our way as it is, but I'm kinda hoping they introduce Sky-Byte as one of the cons that is able to evade Bee's crew and has big plans of his own.

Maybe Hammerstrike will be a lot like Sky-Byte?

Because Sky-byte was an overly goofy, unfunny, idiotic, cringe worthy comic relief character that I prey never gets a significant role in Transformers ever again.

Because the show is about Robots... who are in disguise. See? It works because it's what it is. :)

*pray. I think you meant pray. ;-) You're welcome. Also, I agree Sky-Byte wasn't all that great. I did enjoy the original RID though. Good show.

I know you were intentionally trying to avoid the point, but it doesn't make this statement any less of a non-sequitr.

You have a Beast Machines logo as your avatar, you ain't got shit to say on muffuggin Sky-byte.

Also, if Sky-byte comes back, Peter Spellos should totally come back to voice him. Because he's a great guy.
