Thanks! And thank you for upsetting me. I was trying to decide on what to eat for breakfast. I can make pancakes, bacon and eggs, biscuits and eggs... but no waffles. I want waffles. :(

I didn't want to be reminded of this. :(  It was pretty depressing to hear Ratchet say that Bulk would not be able to function completely ever again. Then, we see him a few episodes later walking around like he just got over a sprained ankle. I was confused.

I know, it's absolutely shocking that someone would have different tastes to you. When you grow up, you'll find it happens more and more.

Omnius, no one owes you to grow up. Feel shocked? You come with "You don't share my outlook- you are a child". Which has no difference at all.

But there is a difference when someone types out something in a condescending, "I'm on my pedestal looking down on your obviously incorrect views" kind of way. Which is what I took from G.C.

It is very childish, unless he wasn't trying to sound like he was belittling me because, you know, we can't see anyone's true meanings via forum chat. If that's the case, then, nevermind.

verozilla, I wanted to comment guard convoy's message with "MTMTE, indeed, has more of fan service, than TFP, but it is not a reason to call TFP "trash". But that was just a LOL of mine: I do not deem that message of guard convoy as "offensive" - the user calls the show "trash", not its fans. But it is hard not to wonder, how the user got to the Prime Forum. Which I can easily explain to myself, actually.
To me, guard convoy hasn't crossed the line, but Omnius got to insulting him at a ******ed level.

Ah, understandable, though I didn't take his opinion on the series itself as being offensive but the "though it is a shame" bit. I dunno. Maybe I'm just sensitive. Lol

After finally taking the time to finish the show (movie and all) my opinion is that TFP wasn't bad but wasn't anything to write home about it either. It was a bit too serious and definitely flawed in a story sense (Bulkheads illness is a prime example) but it was still better than many other TF series. Though, that's not saying much. :lol  Starscream is usually my favorite and in this series he was certainly no slouch but Knockout took his place in my ranks.

    In your opinion of course.

I could not muster animated and loved Prime. The only downfall to prime was the lack of autobots in my opinion.

Yes, you have to wonder why people that hated Prime come to this section of the forum... I hate the movies and don't go to the movie forum... guess some like conflict and arguing.

It's the greatest mystery of our time.

I used to do that... but that was a lllooooonnnggg time ago (late teens, early 20's). My reason was to kill time at work, though.

    Animated was hilarious and fun.

While Prime takes itself too seriously at times.

Overall, including the toys, I liked Animated better.

My son and I just finished it, and it was great. It was entertaining and fun to watch. Except for Rodimus' five seconds of screen time. I was sad. I don't care that I saw that he was ok, later. I was excited, thinking that he was going to be added as a main character and then BLAMMMMM! Cosmic rust. :(

Oh. Blurr and Prowl made me sad, too. Stupid Animated. lol

My daughter was at the edge of her seat watching Prime. We did a marathon once. Plowed through all the seasons. She saw so many bots die in TFP.

While I only saw one or two during G1 days.

So you haven't seen the animated 1986 Movie then, because one or two deaths doesn't really come close to the death toll in that film.

I know it's strange but Prowl and Blurr messed me up more than any of the deaths in Prime.

Also I'm 90 percent certain that Rodimus survived to be a background character.

Yeah Rodimus recovered (which makes me happy because he had great design in that show).

Also like Waffles, Prime brought me to the boards and is the reason I stopped lurking and created an account. I personally enjoyed Prime, especially Deadlock (which is the only episode I watched live- all of the others I watched the day after as I live in the UK).

To be honest, getting to the end of TFP with no major Bot death (bar Cliffjumper, who we weren't given time to become attached to), was a relief to me. That's one thing I've never quite forgiven TFA for.

TFP is the first TF show where my favorite character didn't die.

Animated is way better than Prime, and I like the Bay-like designs more.
