That sums it up much better than i did.
+ the worst fiction cliché : stereotype by colour, Arcee was written as a tragic and at times inadequate character so instead of the usual pink she got a dark colorscheme for Prime : you can't get more insipid and boring than writing such nonsense.

 

Is it bad that I liked Prime? I honestly wish people would stop attacking Transformers Prime in general. These individuals worked hard to create their show and the animation, it's annoying seeing posts on virtually every TFP thread saying: "The show as a whole is garbage." Or, "It sucks, they should've cut it short and make an adults-only Transformers cartoon." Well too bad, that was their show.

 

I probably said the same two years ago somewhere in the last 75 pages of this thread, but I did love Beast Hunters in a way I did not like Prime at all previously.

It felt like a well rounded cartoon that balanced humor, character development and seriousness in what I feel is a great way for a cartoon. Every episode felt like a fully packed story that still moved the story forward and just as importantly, focused on one or two characters and moved them forward too. It didn't sit on a status quo either, the result of each episode effected the landscape on the next. It was fun and fast and I really liked the way way the scenes were staged visually as well. The fights felt like they kept getting better and better.

 

2 years same people copy and paste bitching....... The same arguments that can be found in the previous 70 some odd pages.

 

People have the right to express their disdain of Transformers Prime, just as you can with any show you dislike. And no matter what, people are going to dislike Transformers Prime, and for good reasons. People put hard work into knock-offs, are those cheap toys hard work since someone invested their time in it?

 

I'm a huge movieverse fan, so I'm not un-accustomed to seeing people totally dismissing my favorite Transformers poison of choice with "it sucks". The movies had major flaws, and I appreciate a well written deconstruction of how they could be better, and how they fell short.

A good balance of critique and praise is essential to my enjoyment of anything. The shows I don't critique, I don't care about: I don't watch things if I can't find a single thing I like about them.

TLDR it isn't bad that you like Prime, and arguments like "it sucks" aren't constructive, but I really do hope that some of the critiques in this thread, including mine, aren't in the same category. If I didn't like Prime at all, I wouldn't devote any time to thinking of how I'd change it.
