Dreadwing. I may be biased because I love any character that feels the slightest bit like Dinobot, and Dreadwing is voiced by The Fallen, and while there was a severe lack of screen time for him I was always interested in what he was going to do next. Now contrary to popular opinion, I honestly loved the way he died. It felt like it was very fitting for a cartoon this sudden and dark. Not to mention it was just more build up to how depressing the season 2 cliffhanger would end up being.

 

I agree, he was my favorite 'con and my 2nd favorite overall. His death was actually, imo, the best moment in the series.

 

Personally, I liked Predaking. Shame his toys aren't that great, I thought he was a pretty cool concept and the VA was a great fit.

I really kinda wish they'd gone off and formed their own super awesome robot team  

 

I actually was disappointed with Soundwave in the end. Three entire seasons of him being totally badass and never losing a fight, with him being pointed out as a very important part of the Decepticon formation, only to learn he doesn't have some kind of big secret (like, say, being a sentient virus puppetmaster who was using Megatron like a sock puppet) and gets booted from the show like a chump. At least the toy is decent.

 

Now he can have fun starving to death in an alternate dimension.

 

Smokescreen for me.

 

I already mentioned Smokescreen earlier, but he is followed by Wheeljack, Ultra Magnus, and Soundwave.

 

Tough call:

In TF, fav autobot: RC and fav decepticon: Megs.

In TF:BH fav autobot: WJ and fav decepticon: Shocks.

Megatron or Ultra Magnus. Frank Welker did an awesome job, and although the latter wasn't present for a long time, I liked that we had him in the series. Starscream and Knock Out were both really cool as well, but their sometimes over-the-top humor pushed them down for me.

 

I am going to say Smokescreen, because he is the only character (other than Arcee) to have any real character development.
