I'm using windows vista. I have IE, firefox and chrome installed. I don't own a mac.

If it plays in the Safari browser, then it's HTML5. I'm not familiar with the website you mentioned, but does it require you to login to view your recorded shows? If so and you don't mind changing the password, I'd be happy to rip the video from the site and upload it.

If it is I suppose I will just have to use my account to partake in the discussions on this board  . I was planning to register here anyway once I had something important to say, but every time I check the board after a new episode everything I've been thinking has already been said.

 

I would suggest uploading it to Daily Motion or Veoh if you're going to upload it to a site. Youtube will probably (and understandably) take it down pretty quickly.

Also a mediafire upload would probably be good too.

Yeah, I had a few ideas on where to host it but I don't know the rules here and don't want to be banned for piracy. Youtube seems to have a lot of episodes, and thats where I mostly watch the episodes after they air. I try to support the shows I watch (bought the dvds for S1 and S2 even though its all on netflix and youtube), and I will be buying S3, although its kind of silly since no matter what ratings it's not getting renewed. Anyway, my original point was that no one seems to care the entire series can be found on youtube.

 

I too have recorded on recordtv.com. I am downloading camtasia now as advised. Hopefully I can upload it soon for you guys.

 

It would be nice, if you attach a few screenshots of the video. Because now I feel like I'll need to download all of the uploadings. If I am able to do it.

 

There's a torrents/Youtube thread stickied in these boards; I think the general TFW rule is "if it's out on DVD/Bluray/some form of release available to the masses, don't go posting links".

Okay everyone, let me update...

So while I was out, the first 9.44 minutes or so managed to get recorded on my camera. Unforch, according to my dad, the SD card glitched after that, thus some parts in between went unrecorded till my dad managed to fire up the video camera on his phone.

The first 9 mins are also in black and white, cos I forgot I'd been shooting photos in B&W a few days before, and didn't change it back to color. Sorry about that.

Right now, I'm uploading the 9mins that managed to get recorded on my SD card. According to YT, it'll take another 45 mins.

Hope this can tide you over till I can find a way to extract the rest out of my dad's phone (he's using a Samsung Galaxy S3 - I'm not familiar with Android)

 

You should be able to just plug it into your computer and access it like a flash drive. It's been a while since I've used an android though.

 

I'm recording now via camtasia. Check back after around 1.5hrs.
