My greatest regret in Dreadwing's unfortunate end is that he never confronted Bumblebee over the death of Skyquake. Such a shame.

 

Hmmm, I have a feeling that the 4th dimension thing with his twin is going to be a device for his resurrection.

 

I'm amazed Dreadwing never once talked to the real killer of his bro. I mean he was the stock footage from his mind if anything he should went after Bee.

I can see why Dreadwing never went after bee. its to do with his status as an Honorable Decepticon. to those who fight with honor, death in battle is an inevitability, those who live by the sword die by it. Skyquake was denied his honorable death by Starscream, in such an occasion who would you be more angry at? The man who sent your brother to Valhalla? or the man who drug him back against his will into a life of mindless hunger and servitude

 

Yeah I guess....

 

I just still don't get how Megatron would sacrifice Dreadwing, to save Starscream's blithering little ass!

 

It's because Megatron has a vast degree of control over Starscream, ranging from intimidation to the Nemesis' resources (restoring his t-cog) and gratitude (saving him from Dreadwing).

Dreadwing's honour and rage over Skyquake's desecration could not be controlled. While Starscream will grovel at the slightest growl, Dreadwing is defiant, and thus had to be removed.

 

He's gonna come out of nowhere and save the day in one of the episodes... In Beast Hunter Armor/Deco or something.

 

Not only that, but Megatron was trying to present a united Decepticon force. Starscream had until that point always betrayed Megatron, but that wasn't a suprise, and Starscream was showing a certain amount of renewed loyalty and unification with Megatron. Dreadwing went AWOL, gave the forge to Optimus, came back, and tried to kill screamer on the cusp of this. Prior to that, everyone on the Decepticon side had a sorta clean slate, which Dreadwing pissed all over(With good reason given the character.). Megatron had to set an example, "You fuck up now. You're dead to me."

 

I'm still wondering that. People can justify it all they want, it doesn't make sense why Megatron didn't kill Starscream RIGHT WHEN HE SHOWED UP. SS nearly blew Megatron's cover in the Orion Pax episodes, stole loads of Energon, took te Apex Armor from Dreadwing, and left Megatron to die in the mines. But a few keys Megs still could've gotten if he killed SS spare his life.

I don't argue that this is one of the stupidest Megatron's.

 

People over think this too much, it's a tv show not the work of Shakespear haha
