Episode 47 "Alpha; Omega" Discussion

Calling it now, Megatron is going to gain more than he loses before the arc concludes, building for the season finale.

I predict that Megatron and the arm form some sort of symbiosis, connecting Megatron to the a Prime, somewhat like his Dark Energon connection to Unicron. Many here think the forearm Megatron's wearing belongs to Alpha Trion. I disagree. I think that it belongs to a Prime that has gone astray, namely the one he took his name from. While most Cybertronians were oblivious to the Primes and their past, a gladiator from the pits of Kaon was not. How is this possible? There were Cybertronians of a higher class than his own that knew even less than he about the Primes.

Somehow Megatron learned of Megatronus. Somewhere learned to aspired for greatness. Someone pointed him down the path he's taken. I'm sure you can see where I'm going with this, Megatronus himself. If Megatron knew the burial site of any Prime, wouldn't it be his?

Optimus wielding a power great enough to destroy the Decepticons with a single swing, could have possibly driven Megatron to do what even he wishes he didn't have to do, disturb the eternal sleep of his mentor and to disfigure him. If he's to continue the rebellion he started, there is no other way, right?

I can see Megatronus coming to Megatron's aid in his darkest hour. I don't think Megatronus will possess him like Unicron did, but I think Megatron will be able to tap into his knowledge (and maybe power) in the same way Optimus can with the Matrix of Leadership.

I hope this episode isn't just an episode of mighty titans swinging their big sticks. I hope we learn a great deal of the Primes and their past as well, especially that of Alpha Trion and the Primes that went rogue.
