Arcee's old friend?

Well I mentioned in another thread (can't remember where) and ever since Armada, that Airachnid's escape from her prison wouldn't be an escape. I think the Autbots will have to set her free themselves for a greater purpose--so finding out Tailgate is alive might actually 'soften' the relationship between Airachnid and Arcee. She won't downright enjoy her company, but there won't be any murderous anger we've seen in the past.

Plus with Airachnid's possible connection to Shockwave, that could be how Shockwave became aware of the corpse...

That's true. I mean while Arcee won't be as furious at Airachnid after that she'll still be nagry that Airachnid tried to kill Jack and June and I wouldn't be suprised if Airachnid tried to do that again. And I always figured too that Arachnid has connections to Shockwave as one of the first sucessful experaments of using animal alt modes. Perhaps having Tailgate be a new experament could be part of the deal.

I'm praying for Jazz, as in FoC Jazz and Cliff have a 'buddy-cop' dynamic going on (though interesting, as Jazz was supposed to be 'best pals' with Optimus).

I would be very pleased if the old friend in question turns out to be Jazz, but if not, I think it would be pretty sweet and a nice nod to G1 if that friend is an airborne Autobot, Springer
