only I recognize why people say he's boring but I kinda thought they actually did that on when arcee stated that being a prime makes you that way in this universe . I have no problem with it since his " pontificating " amuses me. He however shows alot of emotion when he fights megatron though

And even though similar carnage has been wreaked on the Vehicons in the past, especially in Darkness Rising. Bulkhead tearing out a Vehicon's insides comes to mind, along with Airachnid's treatment of Breakdown. Oh, and even this version of Optimus has had his moments. Remember the zombie fight? When that first aired, people were comparing this Optimus to RotF Optimus; it's sad to see how far the two have diverged.

I think Optimus Prime has developed in the show. He started out as someone who would stop at nothing to end the war but after Megatron seemed to have been killed, (who used to be his mentor and friend) Optimus felt he had failed Megatron by killing him instead of convincing him to change. This made him want to try and save others from the same fate.

Optimus Prime was reminded that Megatron will never change when Raff was almost killed by him. Optimus realizing how wrong he had been made he obsessed with making up for it. Optimus now takes a harsher tone towards the Decepticons and now has absolutely no mercy towards Megatron.

So while he isn't very entertaining to watch, he does have an interesting story arc.
