Story. LOL Just kidding.

I love the designs. The story is borderline okay.

Good writing. Even better action choreography. Absolutely top notch voice acting. A rich background mythology. A tone that's serious, but not TOO serious. Transforming robots. There's no chance that I could possibly not like this show.

I always prefer writing and storytelling over everything else. I find the writing fantastic (in most episodes). I'm not seeing what Season 2 is being claimed to lack; I find the season similar to the first.

I also enjoy the action, designs, tone and pretty much everything else that was acknowledged in this thread already.
Furry Pride. Deal with it or GTFO.

I like the show, but like the rest say, it's writing can use a bit of work and also character development.

Let me talk about Arcee. I like her, but I don't like how the writers are treating her with all this flip-flops and bursts of anger where she runs off. I really wished they didn't kill off Cliffjumper at the beginning. They should have kept him on. If they were doing the revenge plot with Arcee, it would have been cool to see Cliffjumper try to pull her together and loosen her up since he sounds like the character to let loose and have fun. Maybe in the mid season one, Arcee is in a fight between Airachnid and Cliffjumper needs help. Arcee has a choice between saving Cliffjumper or vengeance against Airachnid. Have Arcee choose one of the other. Maybe she gets her vengeance on Airachnid and loses Cliffjumper in the process. That would be a huge blow, leaving a scar on Arcee who realizes now that her vengeance has cost her a friend and has put the Autobots in a difficult position since there are only five now. Maybe Cliffjumper was Jack's partner at first but now is Arcee's. A good plot for Jack to forgive Arcee and literally become best buds.

And Optimus....oh boy, poor guy. XD He is so comically serious but I wished we did more with him. The Orion Pax arc was too short and didn't leave anything except artifacts.

What they should have done was try to turn an idealistic Prime to a pragmatic one. Maybe Optimus starts out trying to reason with his old comrade/brother, Megatron, but throughout the seasons, actions taken by the Decepticons force his hand like Cliffjumper's death, human deaths, despicable actions against their own kind, and Cybertron. It forces Optimus after so much battles and death, he just wants to end this war as quickly as possible. Speaking of Cliffjumper's death, showing a more militaristic side with discplinary action towards Arcee for choosing her selfish revenge against a team member who needed help. Optimus' change would have resounding effects as he will be more brutal in his attacks against the Decepticons in order to keep them from killing more humans and his crew.

LOL I don't know. XD

I still like the show, but it does need work in some areas. XD

Believe it or not I perfer most of the episodes of Season 2 over Season 1. Season 1 to me was mostly meh (mainly Masters and Builders -= my absolute least fav episode, not Shadowzone since Shadowzone had Starscream losing an arm.

Hell Grill is by far better than Masters and Builders.

I love all the designs that aren't movie inspired. It takes a good deal of what I know about Transformers but at the same time injects so much cool new stuff that the designs just really appeal to me. It's a bit like watching the original Gundam series and then watching one of the newest Gundam series and going wow the designs have come a long way in a really cool way.

I enjoy how they kept the gladiator take on Megatron instead of just saying he was a gladiator in the past and then making him like every other Megatron.

Some really interesting takes on characters like Starscream and Soundwave.

It's great to have Arcee as the tough girl. It feels like she is an equal member of the team instead of the female character being the weak link in the team.

The humor is fun.

And the show lets me feel all evil by being a fan who likes Miko.

same reason i like the films, as im not much into drawn cartoons like G1, and beast wars, i dont like the animal thing thats going on, just the animation and voices that make me like it, just wish there was like 2 episodes a week instead of 1 -_- also the storey seems to fit together, not like some transformers, including the film, were u just miss out part of a storey wich could of made up like 2 episodes....

what I love about Transformers Prime:
1. the harmonious marriage between Bayverse-inspired designs and the new CGI direction.
2. it's about robots beating the hell out of each other (well... not exactly to that extent err... NOT YET anyway)
3. it hugely rekindled my love for the Transformers world.
4. my eldest son loves it. the youngest (just turned 1 year old) should be on the same path pretty soon.
5. storyline is acceptable but here's the thing - there's potential for the series to be awesome.

on a sidenote, TFP made me buy and enjoy playing the toys with my kids. TFP toy count - 3 Voyagers, 6 Deluxes, and there's little indication of it slowing down.
  • wallet crushed? CHECK!
  • okay with being seen as a 31 year old playing toys like a 7 year old kid? CHECK!
  • "smuggling" newly bought toys home so my wife wouldn't find out about them? CHECK!
  • having an awesome time playing the toys and watching the show with kids that are mine? DOUBLE CHECK!
  • feeling good and happy inside? DOUBLE CHECK!

Masters and Builders? You mean Masters and Students? I loved Skyquake... D:
It's so warm where I'm at that all my Transformers with rub signs are already revealing their allegiance!
