I don't think there's a problem witht he characters at all does that make me an idiot then?

Seriously, STOP IT.

Split Lip likes the show, he just thinks it can be better, and wants it to be. For now though, it is an unabashedly average show.

It's still a far better written series, with fresh characterizations of old, mostly unused characters, and it introduces new concepts to the Transformers universe.

Also Prime is basically a G1 remake dude

I agree, I really do wish we could see the Autobots interacting with each other more. It bugs me how in the first episode Arcee refers to Bumblebee as family and then it's never mentioned again or expanded on. What exactly was the point of even having that line if you're not going to do anything with it? What this show really needs is an episode dedicated to fleshing out the Autobots relationships with one another. Let us see that these characters are like a family, or at least friends. Have them joke around with each other more and talk to each other or something.

I have to agree. Honestly I love the show and all but I think charecters should come first if anything.

It's jsut that we have a lot oft hose around lately and I just like how Prime isn't just a G1 remake.
