The morals of this show are so screwed up. It's not right to kill miner-class Vehicons unless it's the first episode where they slaughtered them en masse. It's not right to kill a defensless concious Megatron but it's okay to knock him off life support when his body is damaged but his brain is still fine in comatose.

as much as taking a vehicons t-cog would seem easy, firstly, OP and Rachet would never agree to cannibalizing spare parts (otherwise bumblebee's voice processor would have been fixed), i think the subject has to be alive and in stasis (Vehicon would probably try kill himself, though it wouldn't be to hard to restrain him, question is how to capture him, they'd have done it already if it was that easy), and lastly, making an ambush with limited resources would be extremely dangerous.

No where within the show was any enemy opponent ever "unarmed" (the miner doesn't count, Rachet was on drugs), basically amounting to special ops taking out regular joes, so that's war. Harvesting organs from captured enemies would raise a stink in any government. It's unethical.

As for megatron, arcee was trying to kill him, you forget that she had to keep megatron alive so bumblebee could get in his head. As you know, they were rudely interrupted by soundwave and knock out.

War doesn't care about ethics. War is dirty, unfair. If I was part of a small five man unit with no hope of reinfocement against an enemy with countless troops and my only medic was going to compromise himself to save my scout I would not hesitate to, regretfully, perform the grim task.

And as much as people would want to believe so they can halfway justify wanting to sleep with them, they're not humans. They're robots. Humans can't just have their limbs fall off and be fine. Trying to make them more like humans phsyically is stupid and just makes the writers look idiotic.

And how does the miner not count? Optimus quite plainly says killing the miners is wrong, obviously forgetting they emotionlessly slaughtered droves of them in Darkness Rising.
