    Is chrome the only difference? Does he get white paint or is it still unpainted plastic? And are there extra red paint apps?

    Yeah, the TakaraTomy one is pretty much based on the Hasbro photoshopped photos with the extra paint apps that were dropped on the final in favor of the chrome.

    Where'd you pre-order it at? Can't you cancel pre-orders there? Usually not a problem with BBTS or TFsource I know.

    Yup...as much as I dislike having to pay extra for it, I personally feel that Takara is the one that did the better job of him.

    For YEARS Takara had the chrome and Hasbro did not. Pardon me for my haterade moment, but F*ck the chrome looks stupid and the lack of the complete red chest stripe on Hasbro's makes it look dumb as well. Sigh.....

    Why am I an adult man that collects toys and gets pissy about the offerings?

    .......I really, really hope Hasbro remolds this figure into IDW Thunderwing.

    Scale wise Thunderwing would fit perfectly with my collection which Jetfire doesn't.

    Skybyte shark head is 2 different colors?

    In bot mode one side looks aqua/light but in the beast mode, his head is dark blue//black color.

    LOL, tt's actually a totally understandable in cases like this. When there really is no obvious rhyme or reason as to why Hasbro (and sometimes Takara) make the decisions that they do on certain things, it can be frustrating.

    Cant justify jetfires price for what I could easily do myself, and will do, but that sky byte is just wat I've been waiting for.

    Man, that looks so much better. Don't know if it looks 50-100% price increase better, but way better. the chrome (coming from a BIG chrome fan) is just so silly/random/obnoxious on the Hasbro version.
