What will be amazing is that this will be re-released in the US probably. It will sell crazily and there still won't be enough to satisfy demand.

 

The previous Hasbro Asia release that sold out in many places was $300. Dont get your hopes up for anything less.

The questions are, how to get it here and how is it a Hasbro Asia reissue?

 

With this Asian version a US reissue is more likely, but not guaranteed. If Hasbro US had a real desire to rerelease this in the US they would have done so already. I think.

 

Perfect need a 3rd Prime. Oh wait it's the one with the candy colors and yellow nipples.

I just want them to re-issue prime without the trailer. I could probably live with the bright colors but the painted yellow headlights get under my skin.

I fully expect Hasbro to re-release OP in the new box format with a designated number at some point in the next 2-3 years. I'll wait till then to get a 2nd Hasbro version. I'm wishing takara would do a proper Japan re-release of MP-10 so we could all get an actual good deal on the takara version from hlj,ae,ami, etc....

I still prefer MP-1 though, I really like the size and heft of it. But I will probably get the MP-10 somewhere down the road. It just looks so good especially the truck mode... This reissue looks to be a good start. But should I wait for Takara to reissue this? What are the differences between the Takara and Hasbro versions?

 

This is the most likely scenario. Probably Starscream or Skywarp the same year.

I too love my YOTH and like the price when it was like $90. I just can't spend $400 on a MP-10...

 

Same here. I've got a regular Hasbro Optimus out of package on my shelf and I got a YOTH Optimus still in package. No harm in another one.

Hasbro colors? Damn. One of the leg cover hinges on my Takara MP-10 broke after just 4 transforms (unrepairable POS) and I was hoping to do a repair-exchange.

 

Absolutely better. Some (most, if not all) of the prices for this second hand are downright violating. And I never had the chance to see, hold or buy one due the scalpers.

Grrrrr, I'll actually be in Asia at end of Sep so doubt it'll be out then. Could've used another MP10 (or helped a bud out).

But it will have to be directly painting the eyes for for me as I am guessing that all those painted foil stickers wont match the clarity of painted baby blue acrylic paint?

ok Maybe I'm a bit naive since I've been living overseas for the last 4+ years, but was the Hasbro one really all that hard to find? I ordered 2 off TRU.com when they hit, and still have one MISB in my upstairs mancave.
