    I didn't start watching Victory until a few years back, but even I'm in "buhhhhh" mode looking at him, Star Saber sure is pretty. I like seeing these grey protos, and Star Saber's reminds me of the ultra-lush protos Bandai show for their Soul of Chogokin line. Saber is probably the closest to all those classic super robots too.

    By looking at the robot head of Saber, the robot who combines with the V-Star to form Star Saber, I can't tell whether or not he has his robot face. If he doesn't in the scan, then The Brain of Courage might be confirmed later!

    I know man! Sunbow aint got nothing on that - chk chk chk chk - job done. This guy - takes a whole minute, uncombines, the bits transform, recombines - complete with power up noises, shouted commands in the awesomest engrish accent evar, and even a song!

    Amazing :)

    For a price like that, might as well go with Maketoys' version--looks bad @$$ and it transformers too.

    THAT WHEELJACK! AT LONG LAST! YES!!!! I was so dissappointed when he got cancelled out with the final wave of DOTM figures, but he's there! :D

    Yesterday was my Birthday, when I had a candle to make a wish I was going to wish for news about the next Masterpiece. But if I did wish for that it would have just gave me this news.

    Yeah, anyone not familiar with Victory really should get with it - Animation that made Sunbow look like kindergarteners with crayons, and some of the coolest toys the franchise ever had. Join the chorus demanding an updated Liokaiser:

    Did they announce this before and I missed it?

    we're getting a Victory Saber AND there's a Saber mode? Oh man I might have to buy two then...

    Please TT, let us know if there's going to be an MP Victory Leo with combined mode so I'll know if I need to buy three...

    what is up with the sideways sword blade though :(

    Guys, the animation for Victory and the bulk of Sunbow TF were both done by Toei. Sunbow was just a production company coordinating with Hasbro to put the show together, not an actual animation studio. They contracted Toei for most of the animation including The Movie, though by s3 AKOM was doing half the work. You're right, Toei's work on Victory is AMAZING. Same with Masterforce. Breathtaking in every way. But their work on the Sunbow seasons could be jaw dropping as well, considering they were done years earlier and on a much more insane schedule. Just look at episodes like Heavy Metal War, Dinobot Island, Day of the Machines, The Killing Jar, and The Dweller in the Depths to name but a few. AKOM and the Filipino studio, however, you can go ahead and dismiss their work as total shit out of hand!
