Im not sure about this, why this Animated vibe again?

I thought the new animations direction was the Transformers Prime style, but Hasbro returns to something similar to Transformers Animated?

Thanks Primus for 3P, the branch is safe with them.

As much as I'd love to see Animated make a return (and dear God I'd kill for that), I highly doubt we'll see any Animated toys being re-released under RID2015's line. The designs are similar, so I'll give you that.

Unfortunately, with simplified transformations Hasbro seems to be implementing in the non-Generations toys, I doubt any toy from RID2015 will amaze me, especially considering Sideswipe looks dorky as all hell with that hair-helmet.

The "One team, One mission" theme gets me worried that Robots in Disguise will be similar to Rescue Bots; Bumblebee and his team (and
    Optimus
) being the only Autobots in the entire show, and no others besides them will ever be introduced. If that's the case count me out.

Third party has their asses stuck in G1. God forbid they do anything else besides G1. It's a miracle someone made those two little Mario and Luigi guys from Animated.

They want to turn to a lighter, more fun toned series. I'm thankful for that after the melodramatic, supposedly epic tone we got in Prime. Lighter tone doesn't mean kiddy show, however. The 2012 TMNT show is lighter than the 2003 TMNT show but is still as fun and smartly written as the 2003 show. Animated got really dark in it's third season, but even before then there were far more mature episodes and stories than the majority of Prime.

And of course, they want simpler toys for kids and simpler designs to go with it. If they can ever get toys like Animated again - like the glorious Leader Megs who was simple to transform but a master of toy engineering - it'll be great.

And hopefully the 2D animation will mean much more characters than Prime. I understand the lack of budget for Prime which meant limited characters, but the writers barely developed or fleshed out the majority of the cast, when Beast Wars did it almost two decades prior. The fact that Jeff Kline is running this show as well worries me. We know Optimus will be a stoic bore, if anything. But hopefully they have writers who put effort into the show like there is in Rescue Bots (this being the same team, I presume).

Is there anyway you could at least move it ti the bottom corner? It kind of makes the whole poster look tacky.

Behold! The most nit-picky thing I have ever heard in my entire life. And people wonder why I don't bother reading the comments on this site.

I'm still trying to work out if these are promo images or how the actual animation will look.

Because Bumblebee's and Sideswipe's Dreamworks smirks look incredibly douchebag-esque.

Not really sure how these design look anything like Animated; the proportions are way less exaggerated, for starters. They look like Prime's aesthetic done in 2D animation, giant eyebrows and all.

Strange how they apparently have earth-modes... Also I have no idea how they'll be "robots in disguise" when you've got a freaking Dinobot on your team.

The fact there is NO new stock images from this press release has me worried. There's supposed to be two other guys, one of them being a "bombastic dinobot" but all we're getting is close-up versions of the promo body shots of the same three characters as last time (except now Fix-It looks horrendously out of place with how he's drawn in comparison to the "Handsome Anime" faces on BB and Sideswipe).

Why isn't Hasbro showing even the full crew of main characters? It makes no sense to promote everything possible about the show to get as much interest as possible, especially not when compared to how we all knew the designs for the main bots in both Animated and Prime for their time at these early promotional stages.

Probably saving the reveal to SDCC 2014. I'm sure we'll be overloaded with images and information by this time next week.

(sigh)......Show is going to be crap, Sideswipe looks like a Yu-gi-oh character which equals FAIL! WFC was good but that terrible cash grab they released last month that wasn't made by High Moon flopped miserably and hasn't been mentioned since. So just keep me posted on IDW and Generations figures...thank you!

You say that about every other show that isn't G1
