Oh I can't wait to see pictures of the finished model! Or at least the prototype next to DMK-1!

I might buy a DMK Lockdown. Fat chance of that, though.

i'm assuming you don't own DMK bumblebee.

to be honest.. this looks like a 6 inch version.. i REALLY REALLY hope i'm wrong.

also.. it's no where near as accurate as dotm DMK prime is

i'm super excited for this, i just REALLY hope it's as tall as dotm DMK prime.. but it doesn't look like it. judging by the molded hands, the lack of parts, the lack of accuracy, and the lack of detail.

if this is a 6 inch version.. i REALLY REALLY hope we get a better/larger one.. and i REALLY hope we get a few more to go with him.. specifically lockdown, galvatron, drift.. or crosshairs.

.. i've been hoping for an AOE DMK prime ever since we saw his new look.. but, this is just a bit disappointing and not what i was expecting.. especially when you look at this side by side with the CG render.

It says it's approximately 245mm tall. And what makes you say it's so inaccurate? I think it's just a simpler design with more smooth surfaces than DotM Prime.

I love my dmk-01. dmk-02 is meh. I'm not sure I'm totally sold on aoe's "midevil" look, so I'm a little underwhelmed with all the new molds thus far. but I'm really glad that they havent forgotten about the dmk line, and may pick this guy up just for the sake of the line.

The article states that its height is 245 mm which works out to about 10 inches.

I wonder if it has the same skeleton. I see some pieces that are the same, though it could be details that carried over from the movie model. Would be neat and appropriate if it was the same, though!

There are a lot of details missing on this mold compared to the final render in the movie, particularly the ridges on his collar, so I suspect this is very early prototyping and so not a reason to get too upset just yet.

Didn't Hasbro tell the movie design team that Transformers isn't Gundam? There is no way in the universe to make a movie accurate transformer out of this guy. He looks great and looks like he can take a few hits without his sideview mirrors falling off but I dont see him transforming realistically.
