Eh, sorry Mr. Bay. My first viewing will be in 2D. I hate paying so much extra for 3D, and IMAX screens are so big I miss half of what's going on onscreen.

I'm so fortunate that the theaters here in Toronto feature Dolby Atmos & several true IMAX screens.. There are a lot of gimmicks out there.

I'll be seeing it in IMAX.

Sorry Mike, but my wife cannot see the 3D effect in 3D movies (due to various eye operations that made her able to see after being born blind), so I won't be plunking down all that money for a movie only one of us would be able to enjoy that way.

    It's a sacrifice, but somehow I'll manage. :p

Yea.... Not driving 2 hrs to see it in IMax.... Heck, driving just over an hour away to be able to catch this in 3d is pushing it for me.

Best way for me is 2D on Tuesday when all shows are $5.50. I'll probably watch it twice since it's cheaper.

DOTM was the last movie I'll ever see in 3D. The 3D totally ruined it.

My local theater got Dolby Atmos about a year ago, and I love it. I'll be seeing it Thursday night in 3D Atmos. Then driving 3 hours with a couple of friends for IMAX 3D on Friday and Saturday, we're so pumped for the little trip. And we just finished watching ROTF again a few minutes ago, and will watching DOTM again in a day or 2.

The best option is not to watch it. We won't get no movies - we will get better movies. Have faith in the brand and have respect for something better. These people don't care about TF's at all.

Talentless hollywood director makes endorsement to watch his movie in the most expensive way possible... Of course the format he filmed for would be the "best" way to watch it. He should also mention to watch it in color. I don't see why his opinion would matter, no director would tell people, "Oh yeah, you'll definitely want to watch this in VHS format with mono sound". Watch it the way you think you'd enjoy it most.
