nice find! good to know i can get galvatron separate now instead of that base set.

 

its interesting to see that Galvatron here is a standard mini fig, yet in the factory battle he is all upgraded

 

Those new helmet parts there? I can't tell.

 

for all of them it seems so, i have yet to see those designs in todays kreons

 

Is it bad that I think I'd rather have all these Kreons more than the generations toys?

Galvatron's helmet is new, pretty sure Crosshairs' too, Bumblebee uses the Ironhide helmet, Hound uses the Seeker one.
The chrome helmet actually works with Galvatron since he has silver paint all over. Wish the others included good colored helmets, no chrome or clear ones. It's bad enough these aren't quite the cheap alternative to buying a whole set just for a measly Kreon, but those clear/chrome parts don't really lend themselves to other customs.

This reminds me, did Wave 2 (Predaking, Jazz, Dreadwing) ever get released?

 

Awesome! Too bad we'll probably never see those at TRU considering there's been nothing new outside of Micro-Changers Series 3.

 

I'll never understand why these Custom Kreons don't include a regular "default" helmet option. How many people really want their Kreons to have chromed or transparent helmets?

 

The Autobot eyes really freak me out.

 

It's just cos in the set he's one of the main 'build' figures along with the dino rather than being just an included Kreon, I guess cos he's the focal point, I guess the same as having the optimus truck or Lockdown's ship etc.

 

Yeah I won't be happy if certain Kreons are only available as Customs because of that. I'd rather have an extra, "normal" helmet over some of the other extra pieces that are included.

 

Hound's got 5 o'clock shadow, Crosshairs is a cheeky bastard and Bumblebee's mad.

 

Yeah but Galvatron's regular Kreon form is on one of the hologram screens, so I think the build is supposed to represent an upgrade.

 

I'm interested as to why Hound uses the seeker helmet mold here, but the G1 Hound helmet in the Lockdown ship...

yes that hound helmet is standard seeker.

 

Just noticed Crosshairs' giant reaper scythe... hope he gets to use that in the movie!

 

Hopefully we get the Wave 2 Custom figures here at some point before these come out.

 

Just wondering... is their compatibility with Lego? Some of those helmets would look awesome on Lego figures.
