Cool, I'm looking forward to this month's GI

 

Aww I kinda wanted to know what happends after FoC, but this plays before FoC.

 

A prequel!? So much for that. I was really hoping for an FOC sequel.

 

The fact that it's Wayforward, I wouldn't be surprised if Super Robot Wars was an inspiration.

Why would you want it to be a FoC sequel? None of them are being made by High Moon Studios.

 

So it is a crossover. I'm happy about that. I hope one day we get a crossover game of just everything.

 

But I am starting to feel good about this. But I don't think I'm going to able to play escalation.

 

At least this is will solve the issue of which side is stronger, G1 themed bots or bayverse ones.  

 

I'm still iffy on this game, I'll most likely pick it up. I just wish they had gone back to the online co-op campaign like War of Cybertron had instead of following one character through a level. I like the unified leveling like in Gears 3.

So over 40 playable characters then? Considering they will no doubt count the different multiverse versions of characters as separate characters our roster is already at 16 characters at this point.

Still the game sounds interesting enough, definitely sounding better than the DOTM game, we're getting escalation in this and the big news that I'm really happy to hear about, the escalation boss additions. You and your three team mates getting cocky as you breeze through the waves and then suddenly BAM, Megatron or maybe even Bruticus comes in and really tests your metal  

 

Well holy fuck this sounds amazing...

And i knew it wouldn't be a sequel, i knew Hasbro and Activision wouldn't be that stupid. And it's nice to know that its the "Dark Spark" that is doing this, that means it technically is a spin off game and not cannon to either AoE or the Cybertron games.

The rest sounds Glorious, Boss encounters in Escalation, Hacks, and 40 PLAYABLE CHARACTERS.

Multiplayer customization should be hilarious...xD

 

This game is basically Escalation and I really don't mind this at all. I haven't played a decent Escalation match since War for Cybertron probably back in 2011. 3 years...

This is the first info that has given me some faith in the title. Though honestly now I'm mor elooking forward to the 3DS title since I love turn based strategy games and always felt someone could do more with the idea that was on that one transformers mobile strategy title from 6 odd years ago.

 

Wow, this might be the first time I'm interested in a game with the WFC designs! Count me in!

 

I was hoping the 3DS game would be more along of the NDS War for Cybertron Game, I loved that game and was hoping for a similar one with better graphics.

 

Because I really want to know how the story continues. With or without High Moon Studios.

 

It's a sequel to AOE with AOE characters. The only doubles should be Optimus, Bumblebee and possibly Grimlock.

 

Oh wow so it's both a prequel and sequel to AOE and it takes place inbetween WFC and FOC.

Wow.

I'm not going to lie but that's pretty interesting, I'm actually now interested in this.

 

Full roster character select for Escalation please, no more choosing from a specific little team for each map, that sucked.

And no set amount of rounds either please, just let us play til we die.

Ugh, FOC's Escalation was such a let down.
