I don't know where he is supposed to be from, but I remember the DW Megatron being REALLY big and built-up and mecha-beefy. This guy doesn't look like he packs much punch. The alt. mode looks like a tank from a cheap video game.
...but that Optimus Prime...man, they've got a hot seller there.

EDIT: On closer inspection, I think that's a feature. It seems to transform into some kind of cowcatcher or other bash-type weapon.
