Prime is listed at $1249.99, while Bee is 1099.99. Each is limited to 130 pieces, which all have metallic paint on them.

Both can be found at BigBadToyStore.

Put short - they are not worth buying.

They don't represent the entire 30 years of Transformers and a better idea would have been to have the statues being based on the G1 style Optimus and Bumblebee we have seen. This is just statues of Optimus and Bumblebee that have been classified as 30th anniversary in order to increase the price they can sell them for.

To the majority of people complaining about how Hasbro doesn't look after collectors and fans with their 17 USD mass retail releases...

THIS is what collectors put up with on other franchise. Somewhat on the high end, but yes.

If it's for the 30th Anniversary then they should of had the original G1 designs or the latest iterations of OP and BB from Age Of Extinction.

wouldn't a more meaningful 30th anniversary collectible be a double box set of a G1 Bee/OP and a movie Bee/OP in the same package? That would really show where the franchise as gone in 30 years... For two high end figures I could almost accept the sticker price... but that's comfortably the cost of 10 mp's...

They're nice but you'd have to be crazy to price those high prices unless you just had money to throw away for them I guess.

I was a statue collector when Palisades priced them at $50 - $200 range. I have every Palisades and Hard Hero statue, including their variants. But $1000 - $2000 is just too high a price to justify.

Even as nice as these statues are I wouldn't pay probably triple of what a Masterpiece cost, and yes I do think this will be $300-$400 atleast. They can keep there overpriced paperweight.

Update: I just read the price by the OP but after reading these are gonna be $1000+ each I just wanna add that I think the makers are Dumber than a bag of hammers if they think people will pay that for those. Also that old saying about supply and demand is so wrong when it comes to this,we will see if demand is really a factor for these.
