So many Combiners!! Is AoE gonna be a Beast Wars movie?

 

Hmm, that's probably the least impressive set of Kreon Micro-Changers we've gotten. Wave 4 was pretty much perfect, so I can forgive bad wave. Getting a Misfire is pretty awesome though.

Not a huge fan of the Combiners, either. It's kind of cool that they're being original, but at the same time there's hundreds of characters I want released as Kreons, many of which Japan has been teasing us with in their comics and I see it as a bit of wasted potential.

 

I LOOOOOVE the new Combiners. I've wanted all new G1 style "Special Teams" forever and this is pretty much perfectly that.

An Ice animal Team, a Fire animal Team, an Insect Team and a Dino team. Soooo cool. I just want bios and profiles for all the new members (awesome new names) and Combiners.


-ZacWilliam, anyone notice that Skrapnel in the bag microchangers is in matching deco to the Obsidian insect team? So he's the fifth member there.  

 

Dang.... well at least we know the line isn't dead   It's going to be a while before I am able to update my stats also. Thats a whole lot of Kreon's for one film. Still most of them are quite awesome. I just hope once all ther dust settles from AoE, some regular non-movie Kreons will be coming as well.

Do you think they'll actually be in the movie? I doubt it. I think they'll just be "inspired by" like so many other figures typically are... like the Beast Hunter Autobots.

 

Oh no, I'm quite sure most all these will NOT be in the movie, but they are all under the AoE Kreon toy line. Like every other film, there will be many toys as part of the line, not actually in the film. Looks like a lot of GI Joe parts got incorporated into the human-made cons (or whatever they'll be called)

The first micro-combiners assortment (which is I'm guesing what would have been series 5, now called AoE series 1) has a few non AoE's in there.

Also, when I first saw the Obsidian combiner I immidiately thought Magnaboss (particularly the Japanese BWII color scheme)...until I saw his componant parts...


Silversnout = Backstop (Cybertron) ??

Also, could a LioKaiser combiner be on the way... !!!

 

Only interested in the microchangers. I may skip out on Torosaur and Silversnout but definitely want the rest.

 

The new combiners look really cool, but where are Computron and Menasor?
