I'm so confused right now... I mean, the trailer didn't reveal much at all regarding the plot. Just... epic voice over, guns blazing, explosions, and two universes fighting the crap out of each other.

What the hell is going on? Is it a crossover or something? An online game? Waaaaat!

Why do I get the feeling that the Aligned Continuity took a dump in the communal pool again?

I agree, I really dislike the movies.
Couldn't they have just kept both franchises separated?

Also if High Moon Studios is developing this, I wouldn't get my hopes up.
They've been hit hard by layoffs etc. (The Deadpool game was example to that)

I did not like WFC. Or Prime. So honestly the movies are the big selling point for me.

And no. That's not how crossovers work. You need at least two works to...cross.

Also, no Transformer inner franchise is ever that separate from its siblings.

I think this is reusing assets from all three previous High Moon games but is probably by a different developer.
I'm weary of it, last year Batman Arkham Origins looked promising but it too reused most everything from the previous arkham games and ended up being a lame copy of them bringing nothing new to the table.

Well High Moon aren't developing this sooo I don't give a crap. Seems like they're just taking FoC game assets knocking up a few lazy new movie models, chucking them in a lazy cash grab game and calling it a day.

Another poster child product for how companies making movie tie ins loooove to abuse customers with their crappy half assed over priced garbage games.

Here's hoping High Moon have a game in the works for next year to make up for this.

I think the threads should merged if anyone can do that :)

Interestingly enough, the developer is credited for developing the 2008 tie-in game The Incredible Hulk movie which sported an open world where every building could be destroyed. This developer has so experience developing a game where the characters are larger-than-life so maybe the gameplay might have some interesting twists.

    Oh look!

Development for the game is now being handled by a company that pays it's bills handling porting art assets to different platforms for actual developers....

    Lovely.

I guess that explains why the trailer had recycled levels and models from WFC/FOC/DotM. They all used the same game engine. So this company, lacking the resources to actually make their own stuff, is taking a mix of old stuff and tossing it together, with a few new models from the new movie that probably use the same animation rigging as previous models.

I noticed there was no mention of a Multiplayer vs. mode.

Without High Moon, this game will suck :(

That info on the actual gameplay sounds interesting. I'm mildly excited now...

I hope they don't go all unoriginal and just plain old copy FOC and throw in new characters and levels.
