I'm just gonna say it... Sky Byte doesn't look good. The back kibble may be able to do something other than bundle up, like become shoulder pads, but the chest is just not good. The original figure is better. They STILL didn't fix his hand.

 

I want to like Jetfire but that fake canopy chest ruins him for me. Roadbuster otoh, DAMN nice. Really like Nightbeat too

nightbeat from bee looks so much cooler. what a sharp headsculpt.

can nobody orient jhiaxus wing's properly? i like how the nose cone folds up now but the lack of fins on it makes him look awful thin. real clever with the RID jhiaxus/BM jetstorm-style mouthpiece as a chin piece, but his open mouth looks a little silly.

someone else who doesn't like this sky byte! the shark mode looks awful and segmented with the teal face and the claw not folding up into a tail looks bad, and his lack of shoulderpads and added kibble don't make the real shark face on his chest worth it. i'll stick to the RID toy for now.

 

Wow Jetfire is the CLEAR winner on all these, with Roadbuster not too far behind. Wingblade is cool too, but I can care less about the others. Great job on these three HASBRO!!

 

Jetfire is the clear winner for the war for my money.

 

I love most of them. I'm glad that Nightbeat has a great-looking head. I'm sad that his body isn't very Nightbeat at all. Goldfire or RTS Jazz, neither works. I'd rather have the better toy in RTS Jazz, then.

 

Not really interested in any of the new generations figures except for the previously announced rattrap. However, Sky-byte is pretty good looking. Even though I have no attachment to the character itself, I think the toy came out pretty well.

Yes on Nightbeat, Jhiaxus, Windblade, Sky Byte, Gears/Eagle Eye, and Acid Storm/Venin.

Solid maybe on Roadbuster, just to partner up with Whirl. Leader Jetfire looks fabulous but I'm still satisfied with my 2006 Voyager for now.

 

Biggest disappointed is they didn't give Nightbeat a different weapon, I mean come on, Jhiaxus gets new guns why can't Nightbeat

 

I agree, the robot mode looks off. I especially hate the leg kibble. The shark mode looks like a great representation of his cartoon appearance though, which I really dig.

Only problem is it's not really gonna be able to be displayed as a shark due to the curvature of the mode... should have been sideways like the original toy. Not a bad toy... just not particularly good.

 

These I will buy. Movie stuff not a chance.
