Got an email back from TCC saying that full refunds will be given if any guest cancels. So there you go.

From the TCC? Gets a bit confusing with Texas Comic-Con and Transformers Collectors' Club.

First, could we agree to abbreviate Texas Comic-Con as TxCC? I keep seeing TCC and having to correct my brain, "No brain, not Transformers Collectors Club"

I've never been to a Botcon. Wanted desperately to go to the 30th. But I plan on saving up to the $200 to reserve to meet Mr. Cullen. Living in Texas, I can drive to San Antonio, and what I save on airfare I can spend at the con instead. Botcon has rarely celebrated the big anniversaries in a fitting fashion - the 20th was divided between the unofficial Botcon and OTFCC, the 25th mostly celebrated the live action movie, and even in the year 2005 we didn't get much attention on Tf:tM. Or so I have heard, never having been able to go.

I do understand what the organizers among us are saying - TxCC is a small con, not historically the best. To my uninformed mind, this guest lineup seems to be an attempt to break into the big leagues, and we must admit, they've at least got our attention.

Good luck to the people at Texac Comic Con. There's some conventions in my city that're trying to break in also even though the big San Diego Comic Con is not too far away

If they managed to announce that, then I know at least half of that list would be shenanigans... I still think they're pushing it as it is. Do I think that this is a FunPub conspiracy, absolutely not... But I could only imagine that if something is too good to be true, then it must be just that. It's already one hell of a surprise they have the voice actors that are "on the bill" for being such a (as other users put it) "small convention." Unless someone very wealthy is fronting the money, I've never heard of a rinky-dink Con pulling all stops within a year's time, which in "convention" time, is pretty much overnight. I still remain ever-so speculative for all of these big names attending a fle-market convention (as others put it).

Why does the "FULL" Optimus Prime Experience" sound dirty to me? It's either a car wash treatment or strip club.

Hmmm, this does sound like a good show to meet these guys all at once. Still I've never heard of this show.

Trust me, here in the south, the "full experience" car wash is a lot dirtier than the "full experience" strip club...

    Where in Texas?

Has it been confirmed where in Texas? They said Norris Conference Center, but there is one in Austin, Fort Worth, Houston, and San Antonio.

That makes me wonder if the Texas Comic Con is Doping this Voice actors and their agents into thinking this is The transformers collectors Club/Botcon.

Is this the first appearance by Peter Cullen at a convention outside of Botcon? Or has he appeared at other shows before?

    its the san antonio one

i used to work at that mall and many many times cars have been broken into, i really hope they sup up security, if not it will be another strike against TxCC, the first is when they had there first con at SA event center and everyone had their cars towed!!!! dont believe me, ask anyone that went to the first con. and they better not charge for parking again too!!!

this is Txcc attempt to compete with ACCC and WWTX. 200 buck for an auto and a pic of him signing something?! not even with him?! wth!? stan lee was 200 bucks at wwtx and it was a meet and greet, a picture with him, and autograph. i love peter but hes not on-par with stan the man!

(shrug) It is what it is. Cullen had not done the voice for a billion dollar movie franchise in 2006. On top of that, lets not forget he's voiced at least two games, (WFC & FOC...I can't speak to the movie tie in games) Transformers Prime, Beast Hunters, and Rescuebots since then.

If I could turn back the clock and the prices, I would. But seeing how this wasn't even an option at the last Botcon I went to, I'll take what is being offered.
